My build number says: ANE-LX1 8.0.0.150, so I suppose that means I have to roll back to 120 as well before I try DC-unlocker?

DC Unlocker should not be used to repair phones anymore. The developers released HCU Client for that.

HCU Client works with the latest firmwares.

It Worked!

After....now 3 hours, (didn't wanted to pay, I didn't trust that) finally decided to give it a go, mine is the P20 Lite Ane-LX3 (Mexico), I updated it with the october 2018 security patch(ANE-LX3 8.0.0145(C69)). Used win10 and DC Unlocker>got the code>unzipped minimal fastboot>Opened the terminal>fastboot oem unlock (the code I got from DC Unlocker)>hit enter> bam! Bootloader Unlocked, can't believe it worked!

Once again I thank this community and the developers for making this possible... now let's have some fun!

Hi, is it true that after unlock - I relock with code got from the DC - service will see the state that "Relocked"?
If yes, I have to pay again 4EUR to DC Unlocker lock bootloader and it state that "Locked" ?

No you reuse the same code as you got the first time.

Nope. The phone will be erased once the unlock command is run

Hi guys. I have a P20 Lite ANE-LX1 8.0.0.148(C55) and "unknown error (375)" in DCU Client. I think the problem is the firmware too new.
Do you know if I can downgrade with other firmware like 146(C432) with dload method?

I followed this thread and was able to unlock bootloader and root the device.
I went back to the original ANE-LX1 8.0.0.161(C432) official ROM by OTA.
Problem is I'am missing the "Battery" option on settings, so I can't block battery otimization and the annoying notifications, and can't see anything related to the battery anywhere...
Also I can't connect to HiSuite.
I used TWRP.
Can I just dload the official ROM or will it block bootloader again and delete the root state?

I am a new huawei user, I just received my p20 lite ANE-LX1 today. I was reading a little bit in the forum to unlock the bootloader to root my device.
My device has come with firmware 8.0.0.150(C432). Do i need to do a downgrade of firmware before trying dc-unlocker?
