[UNLOCK] Unofficial bootloader unlock on it's way

I was looking at the link to LGVIET in the first post. I translated it using chrome. It seems that if you flash the teamwin package they provide you and are v0, you will get unlock. Can anyone confirm this?

If it was a true we wouldve hear about someone unlocking by now. And i may be wrong it may do OLD LGS. The unlock algorithym is comepletly changed on g4. 99% unlikely that anyone will ever find it. and if someone did wont work for most of us. I cant use fastboot to get my identifier token anyways. So it wouldnt help me. We have to be. "Bumped" like g3 or "lokied" like g2. Which was patched by lg due to one kind soul. Cant think of his name now but u can look it up. Look up things like bump patched

Aint looking to good for the g5s either they just got root on the tmobile a few days back. I got a old kindle fire the just recently got a unlock method 3 years later. Lol. So hope is never lost. I personally just tried to never gain the hope. New methods and holes are found everyday. So imo it may ne one day but as a device in a whole the g4 is a complete failure and if g5 has any hardware issues it will be too. Get a nexus.
In no way am i the smartest and never will claim to be. But from my understanding the crew who cracked the g3 said they would never work on another lg device again because of one kind soul. Ive been over unlock bins unlocked bootloader partitions. hex edits and much more and all end in bricks or secure boot errors. The encryption is too good for i. If it happens itll be like loki or bump. More than likely will not be in a unlock.bin file
Or lg will feel bad and finnally unlock it. Lol yea right

Thanks for the feedback! Well put! With the speed and smoothness with the G5 I would be happy with just root for ATT and just get rid of bloat. But you're right hope is never lost but will take some time.

Also if u read on the link it says it was made or posted 12 months ago. So theres been a bootloader unlock for 12 months and no one knew about it. Highly unlikly. But i could be wrong i wouldnt dl nothin off that site on my phone or pc prob a bunch of spywarez any way

no no wait my bad . i tried to post this in the dual sim thread as ai asked a friend and he said to use that dual sim rom... that itll give me root.. without unlocking bootloader.. i have the tmobile one i just dont want to uncloked just yet... i want to know how to just root and use xposed if it can be done.. and i need to understand the downgrade as i see many bricking phone .. am slow learner LOL.. sorry for my post.. i had serveral windows opened didnt knoe wich i wrote to. :silly:

Its not looking good. Rite now. Theres a few new tools coming out in the pc world 5hat might help up in the fight but as of rite now no
