I phoned and asked Verizon if the device would work on their network.
They said they needed an IMEI to put in there system software to
answer that.
As its initally specific to Sprint, where would get the VZW firmware (radios)?

Talked to HTC and they show availability for AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile & Verizon as well as unlocked.

The CSR at HTC did comment that since it doesn't have the CDMA & 3G baseband radios you could only use it,
(the unlocked variant), on 4G or wi-fi which could be problemactical.
I guess we have to wait till its released and someone extracts the radio partition from the VZW variant and
then the unlocked version can be overlayed with that like it was done on HTC 10?
