:highfive: LOL
I am going to have to correct you @Binary100100 the correct code is...
Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right A B Select Start

and you don not need an 8-digit number you need an 8-bit system!
Isn't it actually B A and not A B?
I actually can't remember. Oh well... you all got the idea. Well... all but one.

I want to know because I do not know.
is it really funny?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For crying out loud.
There is no universal unlock code.
It's unique for every device.

This whole thread should be deleted.

This is not a way to unlock your phone.

Your IMEI doesn't change. This is just how to install the unlocked firmware with less carrier bloat from Samsung.

My Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935T) qualified to be carrier unlocked by running the Device Unlock app that came with the phone. Once I unlocked it, my phone was no longer tied to T-Mobile. I flashed the SM-G935U rom with no problems. Everything worked. But later I found out that the SM-G935U rom doesn't have the driver to operate the FM radio. That was a pisser. The SM-G935U rom didn't have a Nougat update either. So I flashed back to T-Mobile.

Surprise
[I used chimera to first take it from sm-g93T 7.1 to 6.0 (G935TUVS4BQC1 I believe, the newest one), then I did a factory reset and cleared cache. I then used chimera to take it to sm-g935U (Firmware version: G930UUES4AQC1/G930UOYM4AQC1/G930UUES4AQC1/G930UUES4AQC1) . I saw the DM failure and doing a factory reset or cache would not clear it. I am going to open odin next.

Do I use a PIT for sm-g935T or sm-g935U?
Where do I get the pit?
Do I flash the csc or the home csc?
Are any of those sm-g935T files?

*ps, for ODIN I will be using G935UUEU4API3 [/B]

Hi,
I have T-Mobile S7 EDGE G935T which is "Temporarily" unlocked using the Device unlock software from the T-Mobile. (This device is not eligible for permanent unlock). My question is now if I flash the mobile with G935U then will it be considered as permanently unlocked?. My understanding is that since there is no T-mobile software will be present in G935U, there is no way T-mobile can again lock my sim modem. I might be wrong.
Please share your expertise.
Thanks in advance.
