Nope, sadly ATT doesn't really release them. You will have to wait.

There's att firmware 5-6 threads down from this one......
To get all the att features working you have to flash user data in the UMS slot after installing the U1 firmware. After you install the U1 firmware set up then phone then reboot back into DL mode and flash att user data. That's what I did and have volte, video calling, wifi calling and tethering also works on ATT unlimited plan. Phone is still 955U1 model but has all the att features. You can also delete/uninstall all the Google bloat and only one att app appears after flashing and you can delete that also.

Are you able to place a call after flashing att userdata? I am not able to call although I see all att features available as you mentioned. The call immediately disconnects.. any thoughts on why that is..
How long does it take for the user_data to be flashed? mine is stuck at file analysis
It does take a while for the file analysis to go through it's check but it shouldn't take any longer than 5 mins at the most. If it's been longer than that try a reboot and or a different version of Odin.

i don't know which version of odin I should use... also its taking forever and I used 2 different pc.

Which version did you use? Look for princecomsy odin, that usually works best or I have Odin 3.12.5 that usually works good but due to the size I don't think it will let me link it here. I'll check

That's weird, my calls work. Did you do a clean install or dirty flash with the U1 firmware?

I did a clean install with U1 firmware. But I flashed the userdata after I already setup my phone.. so i guess it's considered a dirty flash of userdata?!

That would be a clean flash pretty much. I guess maybe try to reflash it or maybe try a different Odin.

Is there a guide to make the AT&T S8+ software to become the u1 version with no hiccups of any kind?

There are some guides in the regular s8 no carrier forum. It's really easy though. What I did.
Flash U1 firmware BL/AP/CP/Regular csc NOT home CSC, will wipe data so beware of that.
Once phone passes and reboots just go through set-up and don't enter any of you accounts, just keep hitting skip. Once your to the home screen reboot DL mode. flash ATT user data in the UMS slot and you'll have all the ATT features with a 955U1 model phone still.
