hey all, this is new territory of this kind of messing around with an android phone so here goes
i had a DNA that i had working with t-mo no issues until the phone died (water damage)
in switching i got my moto x bootloader unlocked and has been working like a champ with working LTE except
1. stock motorola based roms work with the exception of text messages in my findings "my phone number" is unknown unless i patch it as a xt1053 or other GSM moto X
2. AOSP based roms (4.4.x) all have unknown phone number and will fail in sending any text messages , any 5.x based roms will show a phone number after an outgoing call but are not stable enough for me for prime time yet IMO
does anybody that has the XT1060 that may have moved it to a different carrier have any tips or directions of being able to use other roms with success?
