you propally already know that the features 'nfc.tag' and 'nfc.peer-peer' in the Gear S2 are currently not officially supported.
So I would like to know if you think that it might be possible to unlock all features (especially nfc.tag) for the Gear S2 by rooting etc.?
Or could it really be that the NFC-chip is by hardware technically unable with that?
Here is a example where unlocking NFC on the iPhone was succesful: https://www.macobserver.com/news/nfc-on-iphone-can-be-unlocked-but-should-you-care/.
