How did you fix this i keep getting the same fail message
Same problem here, it would be nice if someone could help us :)

EDIT: finally I was able to solve it :) Here is was I did:

After having S-OFF and rooting the device, I installed Super CID which solves the security error (in this thread you have the script to install it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459369 )
After that I installed PG58DIAL and it worked like charm, and know I´m really happy with my unlocked sensation ;)

It doesn't work, PLEASE advise :(

IT DIDN'T SIM UNLOCK THE PHONE AT ALL. It's very annoying because the phone is a T-Mobile phone, and the SIM I'm trying to use is Walmart Family Mobile, which is actually T-Mobile service. If I do the *#*#4636#*#* to check the signal, I have -113dB, but it says "Emergency Calls Only". The antenna signal doohicky at the top shows 0 bars. I know the SIM works, because if I put it in my trusty old T-Mobile Dash that I unlocked/flashed with EVO ROM from this site back in the day, it works fine! It's just this Sensation that I can't seem to SIM unlock. Also, if I power up the phone with the SIM in, I don't get the prompt for entering the "unlock code", although maybe there is a #*#* combination that will bring up that menu.

So far, I have done the following steps:

1. HTCDev unlocked BIOS
2. juonoupbear to obtain S-OFF
3. Updated firmware to 3.33
4. Installed Clockworkmod Recovery Touch 5.0.9
5. Installed latest Cyanogenmod 10, Jellybean nightly package
6. Applied TMO-DISH3 update (although I'm not completely sure what it is -- but related to the radio
7. Updated radio to 11.29A.3504.18_M
8. Updated RIL to 4.0.0037HMQ

I'm f'ing baffled. PLEASE can anyone help in SIM unlocking this damn phone?

PS: CM10 on this phone is SOOOOO nice. It's incredibly smooth and Trebuchet loader completely demolishes HTC Sense.

you need to downgrade to gingerbread firmware for the the pg58diag.nbh to function correctly.
make a backup from 4ext, then flash the gingerbread firmware from thr firmware thread.
run the diag.nbh, allow it to run its course then flash back the ics firmware you had.
reflash nandroid back up and enjoy :)

Works, but needs Firmware 1.17

Hi,

I have an HTS Sensation locked to Vodafone Spain.
Serial number SH*.
I used this method and it worked, however, I had to first flash version 1.17 of the firmware: I had the 3.33 and with that the DIAG was not working.
You can downgrade the firmware and re-upgrade it later. Note that your JB Rom will likely not boot when you use 1.17.

Thanks for the guide!

Full guide here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1232107

Revolutionary achieved radio S-OFF for Sensation (among other devices) which means you can practically do whatever you want with your phone (like actually owning it..). This means it makes it vulnerable to all sorts of schemes including sim-unlocking. This can be done various ways (check forums), but I find the following quite efficient and easy to do!

Requirements: owning a Sensation S-Off’ed using this;

1. download this file and put it on the root of your sdcard
2. reboot your phone in hboot and let it do its job: load the file you’ve just downloaded from sdcard and run it. That file is a diagnostic utility and serves various purposes given various conditions.
3. you’ll enter a menu from which you can choose to check your device’s info or reset s58 data.
4. Reset s58 data. This actually resets some things including your sim-lock status.

Now you’re free to go! Bear in mind, though, that in certain circumstances you’ll lose your data connectivity or network signal. You’ll just have to check your APN, network type & so on; I guess this varies with each case.

Credits go to you all, XDA community, but best you should thank revolutionary team!

WARNING!!!
Backup all your settings/apps/sms/etc, network unlocking by using this method also involves wiping your data!
im too retarded to root my phone forsure
