Hello, I recently flashed this ROM (with SHRP) without gapps, and in the setup process some "Update LineageOS" option was checked. I didn't know what it did, so I left it checked.
Then, I wanted to flash gapps and found my recovery got replaced by Lineage OS Recovery. Now when trying to enter recovery a series of messages appear:
`E: inotify_add_watch failed: No such file or directory`
`E: [libfs_mgr]Skipping mounting '/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/cache'`
`E: [libfs_mgr]Failed to open '/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/cache' No such file or directory`
and so on. Nothing can be mounted, nothing can be flashed.

Is this expected?
How you did got lineageos recovery flashed?
If you see, flashing zip have recovery.img image but will didn't got replace by default because flashing script is don't have any command to flash recovery.

Code:
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "j6primelte" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "j6primelte" || abort("E3004: This package is for device: j6primelte; this device is " + getprop("ro.product.device") + "."););
ui_print("Target: samsung/j6primeltedd/j6primelte:9/PPR1.180610.011/J610FXXU3BSI1:user/release-keys");
package_extract_dir("install", "/tmp/install");
set_metadata_recursive("/tmp/install", "uid", 0, "gid", 0, "dmode", 0755, "fmode", 0644);
set_metadata_recursive("/tmp/install/bin", "uid", 0, "gid", 0, "dmode", 0755, "fmode", 0755);
run_program("/tmp/install/bin/backuptool.sh", "backup", "/dev/block/platform/soc/7824900.sdhci/by-name/system", "ext4");
ui_print("Patching system image unconditionally...");
show_progress(0.900000, 0);
block_image_update("/dev/block/platform/soc/7824900.sdhci/by-name/system", package_extract_file("system.transfer.list"), "system.new.dat.br", "system.patch.dat") ||
  abort("E1001: Failed to update system image.");
show_progress(0.020000, 10);
run_program("/tmp/install/bin/backuptool.sh", "restore", "/dev/block/platform/soc/7824900.sdhci/by-name/system", "ext4");
package_extract_file("boot.img", "/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/boot");
show_progress(0.100000, 10);
set_progress(1.000000);

No any command use recovery.img, then you maybe just check a update lineageos recovery while setup wizard or flash with yourself....

OKAY THANKS BUT HOW I CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM?
1.If system can booted normally or adb is working
Code:
adb reboot download
and then, flash twrp again, (IF WON'T WORK, FLASH STOCK ROM AND TRY AGAIN!)
2.if system cannot been booted or adb is not working.
- try force shutdown by vol down + power button (if loop in recovery)
- sometimes you maybe got lucky that maybe boot to odin mode if system got catch cannot been booted.
- LAST WAY: IF YOU CANNOT DO EVERYTHING, IF YOU ARE ENGINEER OR KNOW ABOUT THIS, JUST GO TO EDL MODE BY TEST POINT AND FLASH STOCK ROM AGAIN MEAN YOU NEED OEM UNLOCK, FLASH TWRP, RMM FIXING AGAIN!

There was some mention of having to use TWRP 3.7.0 to flash this ROM. Since I could not find that version of TWRP for this phone (any help in this regard is appreciated), I just went ahead and tried with 3.3.1-0, and surprisingly it flashed without any issues.

The only problem is that when I try to boot into recovery after this, it just gets stuck at TWRP splash screen. I have to manually boot it to Bootloader (fastboot), and then nudge it to "Close PC Screen" in Heimdall (under the Utilities tab), otherwise I wouldn't be able to either boot into the OS, nor would I be able to turn the phone off (almost shat a brick thinking I've bricked the phone)

Anyone know what I could try to be able to boot into recovery again?

Also, did anyone try installing Magisk to boot without using Odin? I seem to only have the option to patch the boot image, but not to apply the patch from the app directly.

Here is the twrp 3.7.0. Try flashing it via odin

Tried to flash it, but gives me a Fail in Odin (I did try to tar the image).
In the meantime I've downloaded it from here: https://sfile.mobi/AIcwXFJkha7
With that one I was able to flash and boot into TWRP successfully, but upon clearing everything and flashing LOS 17.1, I'm once again unable to return to TWRP, so I'm guessing 3.7.0 is not compatible with it?

Try this
1. Flash TWRP via odin (uncheck auto-reboot)
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Wipe req. Partitions
4. Reboot to recovery again
5. Flash Custom Rom
6. Reboot to Recovery again
7. Reboot System

That's the path I took, except I haven't rebooted to recovery after flashing. I booted into LOS, then after that I tried to get into Recovery, but it would stay stuck at the splash screen.
Tried to flash again in Odin, and boot straight into recovery, but it wouldn't budge at all...

    LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12 (S), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    What's working:
    • Bluetooth
    • RIL (Calls, SMS, Mobile Data)
    • WiFi/Hotspot
    • GPS
    • Camera
    • HWC
    • Fingerprint
    • All basic features that are not in the "not working" list
    What's not working:
    • VoLTE and other proprietary Samsung stuff (won't be fixed)
    • SELinux is Permissive
    • Mobile data / wifi traffic stats and usage (won't be fixed because it depends on kernel eBPF stuff)
    • FMRadio works partially (Cannot play over speaker, only over headphones) (Cannot record audio)

    Notes:
    * Please don't report issues like "my device is lagging". we know android 12 was not made for a 3GB ram device with Quad Core CPU, but i will try to optimize it as maximum as possible.
    * It is recommended to flash with latest twrp v3.7.0 as older versions might be unstable with android 12.

    How can i wipe? It just shows twrp loading screen only!
    Try this, Press Vol - + Power button for 7-8 seconds for force shutdown and that will reboot, and if that reboot to system that will directly boot to odin mode.
