Important Info:

• Does not come pre-rooted; SuperSU must be flashed separately (Will be fixed soon)
• Gapps is required
• This build does not yet include multiwindow (soon)
• For now, bug reports should be done here; later on OmniROM JIRA.

Known Weird Things

• Odd Menu behavior (no menu button at all, not even on-screen)
• Camera doesn't work (but Torch does!)

Kernel source is tracked in the OmniROM repos, as m7ul is already official.

Omni is a great new ROM that actually has it's own section of xda fora. http://forum.xda-developers.com/omni
It had a big announcement at BABBQ and the Portal later covered it. http://www.xda-developers.com/android/from-the-bbq-omnirom/

Looks interesting. Will be taking this for a spin this weekend thank you Xda fellows :thumbup:

Edit...just attempted to flash and it failed right away. Downloading again to see if it was just a bad download. Can someone else please provide feedback :thumbup:

Up until just moments ago, that did happen; however, there is a new build which should fix that issue. It was the updater_script failing due to a script missing. That has since been fixed, and it should flash now with no issue at all.

No. Omni views all third-party firmware as a part of the same community and is not meant to be a replacement, simply another member of the greater ROM community.

Yes, as with all source-built AOSP ROMs, this will require flashing the 4.3 Gapps.

it is actually CMs replacement for xda
since cm turned their back on xda and went commercial

this rom is needed though, im interested to see how "different" they will be

Actually, I do as well; that's why I won't be able to run this for 1/2 the week probably. Also, since I use Ting it complains about the network and stuff.

What about global capabilities for those on gsm networks on their sim unlocked sprint htc one? all aosp roms ive tried have had no luck
