That GPS fix worked great. 30 secs or less for sure.

I'm downloading the entire United States map for co-pilot and will give that a go. Always good to have a GPS that isn't dependent on data.

I also used those recommended setting from development. This beta is working great. I think for a device with our memory, jb is running pretty darn good.
I guess the only real issues left are the mic(haven't tried with Bluetooth headset) and camera(I know.... Just saying) and the keyboard being a little buggy. Lag and performance I'm sure will improve over time, but really not bad at all. Oh, and Google now(like I said, working fine when hot word detection is disabled-> mic issue)
I will connect my Bluetooth later today and try a voice search

Kernel upgrade could make things a little more smooth, and unleash some options (otg? Or fast charge)
I'm thinking the cm torch app is dependant on camera right?

I'm loving the latest build. Huge thanks to you guys. Months and months have led to the best os for the streak7 yet (in my opinion)

How do we vote for news worthy thread these days?
There used to be an option on desktop version of XDA

I believe there should be some recognition given to you Devs for a remarkable port. So many challenges overcome(stupid dell)

Tell me where I can vote/promote the work and I'm all about it!

I started a new job this week and funds are tight, but I will be throwing a little donation soon as I can

I downloaded Swype beta and am not having any keyboard issues. Perhaps other users can chime in on what other keyboards they've tried and what pros and cons they come with?

I side loaded crackle.apk to see if I could stream a movie... advertisement played fine with sound and picture but movie only had sound no video. Is this the same problem with drm as with Netflix?

Tried with swiftkey flow beta for tabs and had the close occur on using the search from the home screen, also occurred using swype from the home screen also, but seemed to have more luck typing in from the browser app directly.

I actually think crackle quit working with the Honeycomb OEM update for the DS7. Works on other devices, but it always gave the black screen no video (only audio) on the DS7 once the OEM upgrade from Froyo happened. I was stock HC for a while and crackle never worked properly...I haven't used crackle in a while. I have an HC stock DS I can check on...giveen is likely spot on with the DRM if it is actually playing something on this ROM.

In the play store it showed as not compatible. May bee they stopped supporting tegra 2? Pretty sure it is DRM though since it is playing audio

Can't get JB to flash?

So I've got the thing in NVFlash mode and it just isn't doing anything when I run the NVFlash package from the folder.

I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, I've got the drivers installed and everything and the screen on the tablet just stays black when I run the executable.

Anyone willing to post a youtube video of them doing a clean install of beta 2?

Walk us through exactly what you are doing. Every step including which drivers you installed

Definitely, thanks!

1. Shut the device off.
2. Hold down both volume buttons
3. While holding, plug device into computer
4. Once recognized force update drivers using the drivers from this link: http://tiny.cc/2ad2rw
5. Once drivers are installed navigate to the beta 2 folder and run the NVFlash.exe
6. All that happens is a cmd prompt flashes really quickly and then done.

I did see the post below me say that I should be running the .bat file instead though, so I'll post this then try that and edit this post with an update :)

Edit: I used the .bat file and it's flashing now :) All done and bluetooth transferring the Gapps package to the device now so I can reboot and install via TWRP. (I couldn't find that huge SD card that we used to use years ago for things haha)

It's possible they stopped supporting. I ended up trying it on the other DS7 with stock HC it isn't rooted...but still get audio but no video.

LOL, its okay guys. I don't do this for the headlines. I do it because I like puzzles and I like giving you guys something.

However, the guy on AndroidCentral article saying something about this is a Streak 5....I'm not quite sure he read the article or just jumped to conclusioni.

Hm, Rootzwiki wrote an article but I can't view it

And in other news...
Unless, we have a major update to push out, I will be putting out just weekly builds to include the latest patches from CM. I'm going to take a look at microphone probably soon as I think its the reason why Google Current is crashing. DerArtem says its probably just a mixer path problem, so it should be easy enough to find....I hope.
