CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

Thanks a lot for your work! Amazing ROM!

I have a some bugs:
- Recording with Google Camera don't work (front/back)
- HDR in default camera don't work
- FC to download a file with default Browser
- FC to download resources in Antutu 6.0 (Not GPlay)

It's possible add camera2 API?

delete /system/etc/permissions/com.qualcomm.location.xml

I have some problems. I did wipes except internal storage and flashed cm13. It boots and asks to choose a language, I click to "Next" and an alien guy appers with some wave animations. Its endless, I waited even 30 mins, no changes. What could it be?

I had the same Problem. Just go through the setup as fast as you can. Just skip everything until the screen with a checkbox saying "apps can use location...". Uncheck that checkbox. Now you can finish and set your phone up

I did as u said. Even got to desktop and again the alien comes. Seems we gotta w8 for new build.

How is the battery life so far? I could not get more than 6hrs in CM 12.1. My usage is more in Twitter.
