Hi all,
Just a quick note.
After I had flash this rom. The TWRP 2.7.1 V2 is going back to the hell. It's can not touch again.
I don't know why. Maybe I need to wait the new version of TWRP

So, you can flash back to MIUI OF rom by MiFlash or re-flash the original recovery then flash update.zip
WiFi mac issue;
The WiFi mac changes at every reboot
Yes i have the same issue with WiFi Mac @

Just to add that double tap to screen off is working !

I've installed ARM64 and everything is ok!
Thanks! I actually tried both and it won't let you install the non-64bit package.

GPS issue;
Flashed the Mi-4c with CynogenMod Unoffical as described.
Installed OpenGapps Pico
Installed GPS Test app but it won't get a fix even as location services or Google Maps.
GPS is turned on and set to High accuracy
The only issue I experience right now is GPS as well, it doesn't seem to get a fix.

Guys,

GPS works fine if you are outside for about 5 minutes. After 5 minutes I was getting the GPS lock. So GPS is working.
Only thing that doesn't work is (Google?) Location Services. All apps are screaming to allow access to Location Services but it never succeeds to gain the access.
In other words, I'm not able to check my location when I'm inside and check out Google Maps or the Wheater Updates because it doesn't know where I am.
What is the fix to get Location Services to work?

ditto, waze locks onto GPS within a minute or so

How much free ram do you get on 3gb version?
on average 1.2-1.6 GB free; System (~850MB), Apps (~700MB).
most hungry systems apps are Google Services (156MB), Settings (89MB), and Bluetooth Share (25MB);
most hungry installed apps are Podcast Addict (135MB), Hangouts (88MB), and Whatsapp (85MB).

CM12.1 being available so quickly is amazing. 楼主多谢! I was thinking of returning the mi4c because of substandard camera performance (in low-lit areas) and my ennui with MIUI7. But now that it has CM, maybe there's hope. How's the camera doing for you early birds?

Another question, I did like some features of MIUI, e.g. the dialer app that told me if a call was a scam or a courier etc. Is it possible to get MIUI apps on CM?

Besides, works like a dream. Feels a bit more sluggish than on my old Nexus 5, but the flashlight works (at least in the camera) and everything else seems to work too. What a joy to have.

It's strange. I also installed that package and had multiple apps crash on me. But then I cleared the data for them (the Google Services Framework DATA and the Google Play Store CACHE, as well as the Clock), and they started working, it's as if they came with some data preinstalled...

The only app that persistently crashes even after clearing cache is Google Fit, so I disabled it.

Hmm, weird for me. I tried that still doesn't work. I even tried it with a different gapps (from minimal gapps) still the same result. How did you originally flash the rom? Maybe that's what giving me issues. I only wipe it normally.

I installed TWRP, wiped, flashed the ROM. Rebooted, flashed Gapps, wiped again, rebooted. Someone said I shouldn't flash ROM and Gapps at the same time for fear of a bootloop. Doesn't make sense to me but I didn't take any risks

same as above, I performed factory reset (coming from MIUI 7 China dev), flashed CM> SuperSu, wipe dalvik/cache, reboot, then Gapps, wipe dalvik/cache, voila!

tho SuperSu doesn't seem required as CM comes with root.

Google Fit doesn't come with Pico right? in terms of Google apps, I installed Drive, Hangouts, Keep, Waze*, and YouTube from Play store and none had FC or required clear data or cache. *Waze was bought by Google, tho technically not a 'Gapp' per se :p

Camera has significantly improved since MIUI, it's finally snappy like N5, so I presume it's a software issue.

however, Bluetooth keeps dropping. noticed this from using SmartLock with bluetooth device

I didn't do SuperSu though I doubt that would change anything. Maybe try it again.

I also notice the problems with Bluetooth. I assume you also use the Mi band to unlock your phone? Works fine (but at a distance longer than with MIUI, which is annoying), but sometimes it completely stops working. Also my smart case does not lock the phone, but works as unlocker. "Edge tap" of course does not work, which is probably something the Dev needs to implement. But I'm not very anxious about that, pretty useless feature iyam.

Tried the method, still giving me the same issues ):
I'll try going back to MIUI 7 dev then try again later. Thanks for the suggestion tho!

Edit: still no luck ):

will future updates and marshmallow be available via ota or you have to flash a new rom?
It's a first alpha build, you will definitely have to flash a new rom.

GApps - I used the slim mini package and haven't had any issues

Location - this didn't work for me when I enabled High Accuracy and tried to find my location in Maps, perhaps I need to wait for a bit longer to get a lock. Still seems like something to be fixed or at least optimised in the build imo

Bluetooth - haven't tested this yet, I'll do so tonight with my UE Mini Boom
