Hi. Badly need this for samsung J530F. Had to disable wifi & bluetooth in source compiling b4 i could use external usb tp-link tl-wn722n.

If I enable internal when compiling nethunter kernel for j530f, and also enable atheros usb htc chipset (tp-link tl-wn722n), and port kernel to phone; phone reboots instantly when i plug in external usb tp-link tl-wn722n

Pls kindly help me out here!

This problem is common on the J710FN if i use other rom diffrent from the stock i loose wifi ; the only Fix i use is to reflash the kernel using flash kernel or other custom rom.
this temporary fix was found on the reply sequetion of the evo grace rom 3.5.

Same for me on j530f. Pls kindly help me out here!

Oreo Android 8.0...for HeliosPro kernel by ananjaser1211. Kernel source is https://github.com/ananjaser1211/Helios_7870. I have compiled more than hundred kernel..and none worked satisfactorily. I will be your tester for as long as is required and will give you feedback on the kernel you post.....My device is Samsung J530F (2017). Tnx for your reply.

Yes. I have also tried to build for j7 2016 either for android 7.1 and 8.0/8.1 and I have got the same issue I'm trying to fix that since android 7.0 release. The fact that your device reboots is due to a kernel panic caused by network USB adapter.

Yes, u're very accurate....but pls could help me compile it...coz it seems you're the only developer who's successfully compiled nethunter for samsung j series.

You can use cronos kernel and one ui rom with j730 but you have to compile the kernel by yourself with kali features.
Or let me know if anyone wants to use NetHunter in j7pro 2017.

To fix crash of default kali nethunter terminal app replace it with the one in download section.

1. Reboot in recovery mode
2. Select istall and select the zip you have downoaded
3. Flash it and reboot
4. Enjoy

Does it work on android 8.1 of Samsung j7 6 (stock) version since I updated it from android 6
