Installed the latest rom and gapps, but it won't boot. Just shows constantly the moving logo of lineageOS since an hour. Have done all the cleaning etc. but nothing helps. Any idea?

resolved by formating /factory from the fastboot

hello

I flashed the latest build and got freezed at los logo when booting and I can't connect to wifi.

I'll try to flash old kernel and see what will happen.

Edit:

With old kernel no freeze and wifi is normal.
Btw my google play is uncertified. How to make it certified?,,,,,

Why not miui.it? Multirom is outdated
actually i'm trying some specific apps,
-miui creates a huge .log file every time an app crashes (eating all the space at once), plus is not fluid at all, and
-ios freezes and reboots quite a lot, with all the quirks.
just wanted to try something, even not up to date.
any suggestions?
I just need to run an app for wireless control of a mixer (and that requires me not to be permissive towards random freezes), plus some random internet browsing, video streaming, root and little more.

Im still using 8.5 xiaomi.eu rom.
I tried all available images around for MiPad 2. But this one seems to be the best performance and battery wise.

Well, if you want the most stable rom I suggest xioami.eu. It is the most stable rom for me back then.

But seriously dude, maybe you should consider upgrading your tablet. I have mi pad 4 now and it is great. Battery life and performance is great. The specs is just like redmi note 7 except the camera.

Well, if you want to stick with latte is fine but development on latte is already dead. Only old stuff that remains. That's what I think. So good luck with what you are looking for.

This is the most battery friendly and stable rom, I've tried + it's based on the latest release. You might want to tweak the LED flashing "feature", but that's easy. https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=713227&st=11620#entry80299700

(If there is still a new Android firmware :), the version of Android that Mipad2 can brush is too low. Now Mipad2 can magically change ram and rom. I changed it to 8 + 128, probably because Mipad2 has a poor experience without magic modification, after all, 2g ram is too little.Thank you very much for letting my Mipad2 use Android Marshmallow! !!)

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    GPL compliance:
    http%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FyG18r6g.png
Device tree, kernel and vendor tree: Github

    Broken:
    • Camera
    • Some users have a random reboots

    Working:
    • 3D Acceleration
    • Wi-Fi
    • Hardware Playback (YouTube, Twitch, etc)
    • Audio
    • Sensors (Lights, rotation, etc)
    • Bluetooth
    • Deep sleep

    Bugs:
When you think you've found a bug, please make sure it's repeatable + not a one off. If it is you must provide a dmesg (dmesg > /sdcard/dmesg.txt) and a logcat (logcat -d > /sdcard/logcat.txt) from the on-device terminal emulator.

    Hi, there.
I have some news. deadman bought a Yoga Book which is powered by cherrytrail.
And he sent me Lollipop and Noughat Intel Cherrytrail BSP.
So what this means for Mipad 2 (latte):
It has prebuilt libs with Noughat CPU/GPU drivers for x86/86_64
This BSP has a camera HAL source so we can try to build it from source to try to fix a camera.
Also it has a CHT Noughat kernel source.
    So it looks promising.
    12
    We have deep sleep

And finally also a kernel that works on stock ROM

Few things to sort and I'll update

I'm not sure if cam is fixable

    Report what does not work
    Report is deep sleep works
    Attach dmesg
    Thanks.
