Yeah i did just that and worked but now i cant install lineage or root

Follow this procedure to intall twrp and root. Then you can flash this rom via twrp recovery

The above procedure uses 3.0.2.0 twrp. Use the 3.1.0.0 twrp provided by OP on the first page of this thread.

Hello, I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I'm in the latest lineageos [lineage-14.1-20170423-UNOFFICIAL-Z017], and I cant hear anything from Google Assistant or Google Now, I have the same problem on the Nougat stock, but on Marshmallow I didn't had this problem and could I hear.
But I can hear other things, Youtube, music, calls, just Google Assistant and Google Now that doesnt work, I'm using OpenGapps 27/04/2017 super arm64
I have already reported this to Asus but they didn't replied.
This rom is great, excellent work shakalaca

Thanks a lot for this ROM I download update and Bluetooth and speaker is fix however when playing video is kind of delay. But other than that everything is smoothly perfect.. also found magisk is easy way to root your Asus Zenfone 3..

try to fix the speaker in the audio hal, so far so good but I don't think this patch can made into official build.. anyway you guys can download 20170429 build and give it a try.

Now I'm going to fix the wifi hotspot and pixelmaster issue ..

I applied this ROM and three bugs which I had found were fixed!
First one is playing videos. I can watch youtube on the official app.
Second, flac files is able to be played on Power amp app.
Third, I can use sd-card with using file manager;I use x-plorer, so, I can play contents on sd-card.

Sorry for my bad English, and I hope the ROM to become more better!

The sound is working in Google now commands, I think that the sound part is working.

Pixel Master can run on my device now by changing ro.product.device

if you can add pixel master (the default camera app form Asus) then this will the perfect Rom.
