build 2022-5-18 for kltekdi is available@khalvat first of all thank you very much for bringing Android 12L to such an old device. I tried the build for kltekdi aka nttdocomo s5 -G900D everything is working fine and fluently except the phone doesn’t respond to the charger although it is actually charging in the background but it won’t show any response to the charger connectivity. After keeping the charger connected for several minutes if the device is rebooted the battery percentage increases which means the phone is charging. Another issue that appeared is related to screen cast, the device would try to connect to miracast but then fail to connect for some reason…screen cast isn’t that important but the main issue issue is charging activity …This charging issue is persistent on kltekdi variant since the release of lineage os 17.1 …On lineage OS 16.0 charging works perfectly fine. Please try to solve this issue …
Regards

Fixed charging issue (need test)
So i tested the latest build the charging issue is partially fixed the device has starting showing response to the charger connectivity. But The device keeps on connecting and disconnecting from charging simultaneously, Tested it on computer as well 3 different chargers as well as a power bank. Data transfer works but charging keeps on connecting and disconnecting on computer. Same happens on offline charging. Charging initiates but keeps on connecting and disconnecting.build 2022-5-18 for kltekdi is available

Google suggests Vulkan graphic rendering on A12 but older 32-bit phones dont has this so we have problam with graphic renderingGreat work @khalvat
Unfortunately, my device is lagging too much and is very slow. I've used your sources you provide on GitHub to build the ROM.
Does any1 have the same issue? Device too laggy and slow?
Anyway, thank you for your great work!
Keep it up!
Ah, great. That's why. Our Adreno 330 is simply outdated. But anyway, it's kinda greatGoogle suggests Vulkan graphic rendering on A12 but older 32-bit phones dont has this so we have problam with graphic rendering
Great work @khalvat
Unfortunately, my device is lagging too much and is very slow...
Hey, thanks for the tip! Gonna try it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it's lagging as well, no matter if I use my own build or khalvat's build.S5 Unofficial 19 Laggy?
FWIW to make the S5 18.1 U.I. faster & more fluid when opening the apps drawer, scrolling through home pages, opening Settings, etc: > Settings > Accessibility > toggle on Remove animations.
Try it before & after as fast as you can to see the difference.
What happens if you install khalvat's package instead of yours?

Thank you. Magisk 25.0 survived update.
Did you fixed it?
The mobile data error i mean.
I tried to change /system/build.prop as suggested and added the line via TWRP (changing as root/su while running lineageos wasn't allowed) and rebooted. Unfortenately same behaviour as without the added line.
It seems to me, that the phone just does not recognize LTE or WCDMA networks at all. So the behaviour for my phone is, that it is searching for networks for 1 min and then reverting to GSM/EDGE (but without mobile data there as well).
when I change the preferred network type to e.g. LTE/WCDMA then the phone does not connect at all and does not even find my network provider's network. Only in GSM/WCDMA/LTE it seems to recognize the GSM networks.
Hope that helps narrowing it down.
Here is the current dmesg: https://pst.klgrth.io/paste/vtspg
And this is the /system/build.prop to check if I changed it correctly: https://pst.klgrth.io/paste/gvs5j
Please test this build and Remove sim pin befor flashI tried that (also with TWRP), but it didn't change anything, even with a clean install.
For me, the LTE and WCDMA networks are detected (and the voice networks work), but the data networks don't work (they get stuck on connecting in the *#*#4636#*#* Testing/Phone Information menu). I'm 99% sure I have the latest baseband/firmware versions.
Hope this helps. Any suggestions?
SIM card PIN is different from screen lockbut there you can only disable the screenlock options, you can't disable/remove the pin for your sim-card! can i re-enable the screenlock options again after flashing? otherwise there would be a new problem now that mobile data finally works: no phone security.. :/
No, this was about 4G (mobile data) not working for klte (see e.g. here, others have reported the issue, too). You will most likely not see VoLTE for the klte variants since the drivers are proprietary AFAIK.Sorry for the novice question, when you say 4G issues, does that include 4G calling (VoLTE) ?
Different processor. It's more compatible to a3 2016Will this work on the kltecan a.k.a galaxy s5 neo a.k.a the sm-g903w
It's common issue on old kernels and need some newer kernel patch to solveThanks ! Strange, I didn't think it would work... but it works ! Do you know why ?
