Unofficial LineageOS 20.0 Android 13

I get no internet warning to my 5GHz wifi router.

This is after clean install with format data and latest
modem firmware on my klte-phone

It was working fine on the los19 version.

I experienced this warning about no internet with previous versions of LOS before.

In all cases it was related either to the WAN connection, the router or the WiFi connection between the S5 and the AP/router and not related to LOS itself. Were able to solve, e.g. by forget and reconnect to the WiFi, restart router, etc.

No problems to connect my kltechn @LOS20 to a 5Ghz WiFi so far.

Turns out my firewall was blocking google connectivity checkup.
Wierd that los19 was working tho.
Everything is good now, good rom thanks a lot.

Great that you solved it! Yes, sometimes the root cause seems weird.

It's not a big deal really because the phone is already stressed from this level of Android anyway. Encryption would surely bring it to its knees. Thanks for the explanation!

android 12 improved performance and ive been using my klte with FDE for a long time now, it doesnt change performance much.

for me, encryption is practically a must, so this is a little sad that my klte finally is no longer suitable for daily drive (at least, by my standards)

maybe we should think about ditching this ****ty, unstable and outdated kernel 3.4 that we've been reliant on for msm8974 when theres pretty good close-to-mainline support for it, and look at maybe making that work with android

just a thought tho..

Video performance seems a bit lower. In los19 I could play 1080p videos in Newpipe without stuttering, now only 720p.

what does it mean that no custom kernel supported ? does it mean that i cant change cpu governor by app like FKM?
i can't manipulate kernel , like cpu and memory?

Hi @Hasan1122behj ,

my understanding is that it is out of scope of this thread and no support provided for fixing any related issues if they appear.
It does not necessarily mean that it won’t work with it.
Yet at your own risk and responsibility.

(But then I am not a native English speaker.)

Crazy. The network traffic status bar is back. And it is no longer in center. It is now left or right. App network usage is still broken.

Yayyyy, just dug out my old S5 today and with this I now have another reason to install android 13 on it!

There is a serious error in this ROM. If you look at YouTube, it reboots alone every once in a while. The model sound is SM-G900S

I solved it. It works now. I use minor bugs, but there is no problem. Even if I shut down in the power menu, it reboots. Is it just me? Thanks

Is there a way to encrypt the phone? Or make it seem encrypted to an app? Work apps are not working because the phone is not encrypted and when i try to encrypt with company portal, it is not going throught.
