Had some lockups on occasion before that caused me to miss important phonecalls coming from sleep I think its with the Wifi On not sure if it was my phone or the OS that was a while ago does it still do it?

_the custom kernels perform much-better than stock ones,trust me my friends,but our Mr.khalvat doesent give us an options to change or flash a custom on this rom,i really think that it would be great and helpful if we have a support for "custom-kernels"....

Hello some last days, i update google chrome and catch bug, when i am go to url, content of any site not showing.

While it's good you provided the log, it makes it look like it's just a broken chrome install.

Have you installed gapps? Chrome likely won't function without it. (But Chromium probably will.)

Do other browsers and apps connect ok? If so, uninstall chrome and download a new apk from a source you trust.

You probably shouldn't be using chrome anyway. It's a closed source browser, packed with spyware, distributed by the world's largest advertising company.

I am have two galaxy s5 klteduos with MindTheGapps and without it, and on first installed from google play and second, chrome not work propertly as i describe in upper message.

Then chrome can't work on that phone.

I also have two Galaxy S5 phones (klte and kltedv), and neither have gapps. There are some apps that just won't function without google play services, since the play services are a core part of how the apps function. Chrome is closely tied to google's ecosystem, so it requires play services to work.

I switched to LineageOS (originally Cyanogenmod a decade ago) to get away from google's panopticon, so I'm used to working without play services.

If you really want chrome, it needs play services. Personally, I'd recommend you switch to almost anything other than chrome, but you have to work within the limitations you've set for yourself.

Keep in mind, google adds it's spyware everywhere. They even tried to sneak it into Chromium back in 2015. Be aware of the consequences of choices you make.

just chrome related problem (have this with v113 or something with android 13 and 12) just install chrome dev - this is working fine

Guys, what are you doing with your device to make it run fast? (I know, without gapps.) Mine has gapps, animation 0.5, lots of magisk modules and overclocked. (I have the kltexx version)

Did you compare 18.1 vs 20.0 ?

I have just installed the latest version of this ROM on my S5, the only thing i found not working is just 5GHz Wi-Fi connections, it just connects and then says an error occured while connecting to the network, then the network dissapears from the list forever. You could also port like GCam because IMO the stock camera app is bad. But still keep up the good job

I've never talked about it because I've never had an issue connecting to 5Ghz with either my klte or kltedv (or Galaxy Tab A gta3xlwifi). I've been using LOS on my klte from version 15 to 20, both official and unofficial, and I've never had a 5Ghz issue. I just checked, and my kltedv is connected to 5Ghz as I write.

What's your router set to? There's a broader bug where you can't connect if the router is set to "WPA/WPA2". It has to be set to one or the other. This also impacts Raspberry Pis.

Does that solve your problem?

,but i mean sharing your phone ( data ) by enableing a '2.4 or 5 ghz "hotspotWifi"...did u understand now.
