[UNOFFICIAL] LineageOS 20 for the Pixel 3a

@npjohnson - are their still plans for an offical build for Pixel 3a? (noticed Pixel 2 got an offical build last week and was curious if the older models are actively being worked on, or just from folks like you (unofficial)

I have my fingers crossed for either eSim support on this build or an Official Build (which I believe is waiting on eSim support possibly) I am feverishly watching the build/changelog for eSim related merges. I dislike my Pixel 5, 6 and most recently 7. They are all sitting in a drawer. I find myself always migrating back to the good ole' feel of my 3a. I just bought a Pixel 4 2 days ago, hoping that it would give me that same feel, yet it has the support for Android 13 out of the box. I have used it exactly 1 day and already hate the fact that it has no fingerprint sensor. I thought I could be good with the face unlock, but it has made me hate the phone as well. Just grabbing my 3a last night made me feel right at home. It is hard to really explain I guess. If I didn't really need eSim, I would be 1000% good to go. I really love the current build and everything that goes along with it. I know I could just go back to 12, but I just cannot bring myself to go backward, even for the eSim support. I will say that if Pixel 2 got an Official build, maybe we are close. Time will tell I guess!

Nope. Stuck unofficial - none of us have ideas on how to fix ESIM.

Pixel 2 only have Google Fi ESIM, so not critical to shipping.

Question, if this project will remain 'unoffical' ..possible to get de-googled (clean) version of this ROM? or is that outside of the scope of your project?

Since the last update I can only make calls using wifi calling. Using the cellular network it rings and the call is disconnected as soon as the other person answers.
Anybody else getting this? I guess not...
EDIT: going into and out of airplane mode cured it, for a while

@npjohnson do you also notice that Google Timeline History isn't working with this ROM? Since I installed this awesome ROM it doesn't show any history.

Probably some missing overlay. I'll look for it.

One question about this ROM: at every cold boot I'm getting a warning that my bootloader is unlocked, that lasts only a few seconds before booting but still concerns me. Is it safe to

fastboot flashing lock

again, or would that prevent any updates?

It's not the rom, that's normal when your bootloader is unlocked. Just ignore it.

The problem has not been solved. I'll wait for the next version, I used the version before 0323 with great satisfaction. Thanks for developing it.

After updating to lineage-20.0-20230325, Pixel Launcher stopped working. lineage-20.0-20230324 worked fine for me.

Nova launcher crashing, pixel launcher crashing, in fact loads of things crashing. Phone unusable now.
