Maybe you enjoy this then... ;)

DerpFest EAS TEST Build!

That's only for testing and people who know what they're doing. This will never be merged maybe.

Some Weeb users may have noticed that they have plenty of logspam. This is because all ROMs are focused to run on HMP on our device so far. This is nothing bad but optimization can't hurt either. That's why I have been working on proper device source for EAS for a while now. Would be nice to have some more feedback.

Furthermore, the Oneplus camera is integrated. We have CrDroid to thank for this. I just had to adapt it a little for our ROM. So shout-out to CrDroid!

Many thanks to @David , who built again today for cheeseburger.

- SELinux still set to permissive
- Removed AOSP camera in favor of OP Camera
- Switched to DerpEAS kernel (basically upstreamed Weeb)
- Removed QTI perf stack and merged latest Pixel Power HAL
- Reworked ramdisk and bootscript for EAS

Thanks for all your feedback, and support!
Any idea about why doesn't want boot properly my 5T this ROM if I flash it with OrangeFox? Previous build of this ROM doesn't affected by this issue. If I flash that build with codeworx's TWRP, the device boot as it should.

I forgot to explain what I mean with my 5t "doesn't want boot properly": after the OnePlus pre-boot splash screen I get a blue LED and a black screen.
Moreover, OrangeFox doesn't report any error.

Wow! It's like updating from Windows 98 -> Windows 7
Flashed the OrangeFox_vR10.1 (TWRP 3.31, zip from previous post) on my OnePlus 5T 9.0.10 without problems so far. Hope backups/restores also are working well. Thanks for all involved with this projekt.

Is there an actual github/gitlab source for the dumpling? On gitlab there is only a realy outdated 8.1 version from last year.

Sent with much love and Android.

    * We're not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this recovery
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.

    0. Backup your ROM, your data, your internal storage, and your settings/apps, to an external device
    1. Flash boot image with "fastboot boot path/to/image"
    2. The device will automatically reboot into OrangeFox recovery after installation (allow this to happen)
    4. Install flashable zip
    3. Enjoy!

    Updated links, working.
If anyone's interested, I've just built R11 for "dumpling" . You can download it from: https://github.com/ShotTard/OrangeFox-11-Unofficial-dumpling/releases

NOTE: I compiled this recovery for my own personal use, so I won't be providing any support. Nor do I guarantee that I'll continue to maintain it.

The difference between "noencrypt" and "encrypted" is that "noencrypt" has the following build variables ENABLED: "OF_TWRP_COMPATIBILITY_MODE" and "OF_FORCE_DISABLE_DM_VERITY_FORCED_ENCRYPTION".

WARNING: As I don't intend to encrypt my phone, the encrypted version is completely untested, as in it has never been flashed to a device.
links keep redirecting me to unsecure site

If you're interested, I've recently built my own up-to-date version, and have just (a few hours ago), gotten it to a point where I'd consider it finished (as in all the functionality has so far worked).

You're more than welcome to download it from my repo: https://github.com/ShotTard/OrangeFox-10.1-Unofficial-dumpling

If you or anyone else decides to use my version, just be aware that I built it for my own personal use, and will therefore not provide any support nor guarantee that I'll continue maintaining it.
    You have been warned ;)
So flashing zip through recovery will not erase anything in a perfect world right? No pictures, videos, ect? Assuming the small risk of things going wrong right?

Don't flash anything from the links included on this thread, they are for fajita. The dumpling zip in the fajita thread worked, but he removed them from the thread.

I can't post the full URL (don't have enough posts) but it is mediafire /file/rsqlhr0n4s4hxuc/OrangeFox-Unofficial-dumpling.zip/file

The zip is flashable through twrp. If you don't have twrp installed (or just want to flash the img through fastboot) you can extract the img file from the zip.
This seems interesting!.....can you just install the .img file from TWRP??.....and then just install TWRP .img back from OFRP?? @Spookybear
Yes. I just tried. It's working both ways.
