sure, but you will lose some fox's custom files, eg AromaFM.

Then we have to flash the file . zip in Twrp? ..

open the zip from the link above, extract recovery.img, and "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"

I actually use this recovery since it was released and I was able to install any rom I tried (actually on latest AICP). I don't understand What is missing for you or have to be updated.

OTA mostly doesn't work for some users, eg crDroid OTA. MTP sucks also sometimes.

Can we get the link to the source files? As was previously mentioned, the official gitlab only has the old v8.1
