fastboot boot OrangeFox-R11.1_2_A12-Beta-lisa.img - test, run without flashing
I tried with stock MIUI 12.5.8 (fastboot boot recovery.img)

Unlike the previous Fox A12 versions (from this thread) this one booted successfully but I was not able to decrypt - I enter my 4 digits pin (correctly) but it tells me that password has failed.
Tried couple of times.
Gave up, went to File Mngr and (as expected) file names on Storage were scrambled

Any way I could collect logs or something if you need - maybe by adb?

check this image (twrp -.3.6.2)
Black-blue Teamwin screen shows for the moment, then disappears for like 2 seconds. Then shows again and immediately dissapears, etc

Btw, my currently active slot is _b and I boot by fastboot boot ...

Same way it works for me for an older OrangeFox-R11.1_0-Unofficial-lisa.img

fastboot flash boot_ab OrangeFox-R11.1_2_A12-Beta-lisa.img
fastboot reboot recovery
after boot flash OrangeFox-R11.1_2_A12-Beta-lisa.zip and reboot
I am on PixelOS ROM latest August build.

In the beginning, after clean flash using Mi Flash tool (V13.0.7.0.SKOINXM),
I used "fastboot boot OrangeFox-R11.1_2_A12-Beta-lisa.img".
At that time, phone rebooted to Orangefox successfully. Wiped, formatted data, rebooted to OrangeFox, then flashed PixelOS zip.

ROM installed, now I have PixelOS recovery in both slots.

Now in fastboot mode, when I enter:
"fastboot boot OrangeFox-R11.1_2_A12-Beta-lisa.img", phone reboots and gets stuck at black screen.
"fastboot flash boot_ab OrangeFox-R11.1_2_A12-Beta-lisa.img" and "fastboot reboot recovery", phone reboots and gets stuck at MI logo.

Though I am able to boot to ROM after flashing PixelOS recovery image (boot-lisa-20220815.img).

Also, one strange thing (to me) I noticed is that OrangeFox settings are preserved even after flashing fastboot ROM using Mi Flash Tool.

@Tiger_bhai I wonder if once you install OrangeFox successfully then install PixelOS, if you flashed the OrangeFox recovery again, would it boot successfully?

I'm curious because I really want to use this recovery again. I used to have it running on the old version using the previous version of PixelOS. Once I upgraded to the latest version, I ended up with the PixelOS recovery on mine too. When I tried to flash OrangeFox again, everything went to **** and I had to wipe my phone and start from scratch again (NOT a great way to spend your day...).
So I'm very curious to know what happens here.

Before installing PixelOS (on latest MIUI ROM, slot A) I used fastboot boot <recovery.img> to boot to OrangeFox.
Orangefox booted successfully. Formatted data and flashed PixelOS zip.
Then, used 'Flash current OrangeFox' option inside OrangeFox.

Then on the reboot screen, switched to slot B, but it goes to Fastboot mode at this step (probly a bug)
So in the fastboot mode, changed active slot using command fastboot --set-active=b.
Then fastboot reboot recovery.
Unfortunately, it boots to PixelOS recovery here.

Then I tried to load OrangeFox zip using adb sideload option present in PixelOS recovery itself.
Now after rebooting to recovery mode, it shows only on a black screen.

So, OrangeFox doesn't seem to work with PixelOS in my case.

However, at this point I am still able to use OrangeFox normally when I switch to slot A as active slot.

I don't know what I am doing wrong or missing any step, or maybe it is due to bugs.
