i heard about some struggles a chinese devices could take but "Chineshe unit + Global ROM = Brick" make me so confused, really.
Now my device is miui 12 china, a10. what can i do to afford to install custom rom? and what kind of custom rom is for my device? thanks

From my understanding from the post "ROM" in this case means "firmware".
So only flash if your chinese device is on a chinese firmware.

At least the manual to install PE is working well.
What's best for you depends on your usecase and requirements.

So i have to keep the stock firmware (i mean it's chinese devices, so it might be chinese firmware) in order to install custom rom without distracting of those custom firmware, right? what about CFW rom? Can i try them?

Hmmm, for example PE (as far as I know) brings its own TWRP-recovery (including a custom firmware). If you install this everything is working.
For other ROMs I do not know.
The issue with begonia in particular is that it can brick if you don't do thing right. That's why everyone is pointing to the megathread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-8-pro/how-to/guide-redmi-note-8-pro-megathread-t4056527

I suggest you to read the megathread first. It's perhaps obsolete but is one method to save you from headaches.
For this question, I think device region doesn't matter as long as you get your device's bootloader unlocked, and on the same firmware level as your target ROM (e.g. Android 10 MIUI to be installed with Android 10 ROMs). And there is CFW and non-CFW roms and recoveries, you can get info on CFW, why it's matter, and why it's obsolete and developers are dropping it in the megathread.

I'm having issues with data-decryption. Everything in /sdcard has very weird names. Additionally OrangeFox wasn't able to create the folder "Fox". How can I fix this issue? Does this require a wipe? What can I do to get the data-decryption working?
