I used TWRP 3.0.2 (same as you) so that should be ok.
Could you give me a guide annd maybe the odin link you used?
when i download 3.0.2 it's an image file,
only version of odin i can get to say "pda" like what old guides show using version 3.0.7 of odin but it only will permit the twrp-3.0.2-0-n801x.img.md5 to be seen
when i try it, odin stops responding.
am i doing all this wrong?

--- edit ----
so the only way i could put the new version on was through twrp.
there's a couple things about this rom i'm nonticing.
settings stop on boot no matter what version of gapps you install.
When you hit the square the all the apps get these dashes on them so it makes it hard to see what it is.
i've tried reinstalling this multiple times. is there a solution to that dash looking things on the screen when you hit the square?

Anyone can re-upload this rom please? I was running stock for years using this tablet as home automation controller, and now several apps stopped working because stock android version is too old for them. Hoping to upgrade to a stable rom with newer android version and this seem to be a good option but the link is dead. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I've been running this ROM for about 6 months now. I only have one issue that is driving me insane.

Does anyone else experience extreme, severe performance issues? I've noticed that if you're doing something even moderately resource intensive, within a minute or two the device often begins to slow down more and more, and within another few minutes it can get as bad as completely locking up.

If you're quick and catch it before it slows to lockup, and close all your running apps, it doesn't really go back to normal. It gets a little better, but nowhere near normal. A reboot appears to be the only solution.

In an attempt to solve this, I tried all of the CPU governors, and increasing filesystem cache, etc, and nothing seems to fix this. The "Performance" governor seems to help a significant bit, but after a couple minutes of heavy app usage (especially video, like YouTube), the CPU frequency drops from 1400 MHz to 800 MHz (WTF? I suspect thermal throttling, thoughts?) and will not ever return to 1400 MHz without switching governors to something else, and then re-selecting Performance. Unfortunately, this is the most effective way I've found to help, and it doesn't even work that well. I can't babysit the CPU all of the time... I've tried, and it gets really annoying, really fast.

Does anyone else experience severe performance problems in any way similar to this? Has anyone ever been able to properly solve this? Or maybe just help this? To be honest, the slow performance gets infuriating. I can't handle it, man. I can't.

P. S. I was using OmniROM KitKat 4.4 before this, and was basically forced to upgrade to a newer version due to app compatibility/minimum version requirements. That ROM was extremely, and very noticeably faster.

P. S. I'm on an N8000 (int'l 3G model), in airplane mode, with Wi-Fi manually turned on (I modified the install script of the N8013 ROM, basically bypassing TWRP's hardware check) and have no qualms about sacrificing telephony capabilities in order to run a modern Android build. I am very skeptical that this would be the cause, as this method has been used many, many times in the past on other devices without causing any problems.

How do I fix the brightness issue?

How do I fix the brightness issue?
Because the light sensor doesn't work in this build, there is no other solution than to control brightness manually. There's an app in the Play Store by Vito Cassisi called Lux Auto Brightness. It will put a persistent notification with +/- controls that let you easily adjust the brightness yourself from basically any screen you're on. It even let's you go darker than 0%. It's the most elegant solution I've found, and frankly it works so well I forgot this build even had a brightness bug.

The dev is a really cool guy, he even has a thread here for his app:

I'm uploading it on my gdrive, it's a bit slow and i'm going to play with my band :p I upload also the "updater-script" file to replace in in META-INF\com\google\android inside the original zip file. it's easy, just copy and paste it. I'll share the rom link later if You have any problems after replace. sorry for my english :silly:
    updater-script link:

rom link (hope I have the permission):
    https://drive.google.com/open?id=131MRZ-AOi0jNdOaQFxwJledUhexy8YgH

I can't test bluetooth now, till now I noticed only the glitch when lock screen or recent panel, btw this rom didn't give new life to my device, it's really pretty slow (not rom fault), maybe just too old.
    3
any chances of reupload, the link from the first post does not work ..

Let me try to compile this ROM from source. Give me a couple or few days.
    2
The first post says "Based On Latest Google Android 7.1.2" and I would like to know if this includes the latest patches for Krack (wifi, wpa2 vulnerabilities).

The release notes for 5.8.5 at

    https://github.com/ResurrectionRemix/android_vendor_resurrection/blob/nougat/CHANGELOG.mkdn

    suggest no Krack fixes.

Can someone who has loaded this rom please post what the Android security patch level is in the "about device" screen?

    Thank you.
Krack is a kernel fix i have not included. But well, any other ROM around here having it? No. I'll update the kernel too, but for sure no ETA. My time, especially for working on N8013, is limited.
