This ROM has some unknown issues:
* Bug report: While sending a bug report, "Shell" keeps stopping.
* Media player: Could not play *.flac audios.
* Storage: "Corrupted sdcard" problem.
* WI-FI connection: Sometimes the device could not connect any WI-FI even if you click "connect" button.

the bug "corrupted sdcard" had made my nikel be a black brick twice!!!.:(

I have found a solution which can fix "Corrupted SD card" bug. Lineage 14.1 (08-22-2017) fixed "SD card" bug in August. So, you can replace fstab.mt6797 (in boot.img) to fix "Corrupted SD card" bug.

Of course, I will try it whenever I have time. Many thanks for that, I had been working to solve that bug in the original ROM (RM PRO) for some time and couldn't find a solution :D

Thanks. The reason which causes "Corrupted sdcard" problem is that *.fstab (Android 7.x) is different from *.fstab (Android.6.0.x) especially MediaTek device (with MT67XX Soc). Though MediaTek modified storage settings, it caused some bug such as "Total used of" and "used of"...

Then I do recommend you and your team building AOSP ROM because some modified ROMs such as Omni, AOKP, AICP, RR, Lineage and etc modify some setting. Some modifications may cause bugs on MediaTek devices. Next, Vernee leaked MT6797 sources several months ago. You can use Device Tree and Vendor Tree to replace some error files and prebuilt files especially Camera, RIL, WI-FI, VPN, Fingerprint scanner and Media player...

Pls make this rr rom as a stable rom for redmi note 4 because it is very regreatful for the redmi note 4 mtk users to not to use any kind of custom rom. So fix the bugs and make it stable . Thanks to you from me personally for this post because it gives me hope to use custom rom besides of miui rom.

After flashing this rom there are message that the data is broken and need to restore defaults. After that phone boots into recovery ALWAYS. What the heck is this? I like RR, i want to flash it... But I never had a problem like this.

I have the same experience as you. But I have saved it. Using SP flash tool Forgive my bad English

hi there, do you know if this worked at all? i am willing to give it a shot, but camera is very important for me so hoping you may have had some success, thanks very much.

    Hello everybody!

    I would like to throw a bit of light here. I am the owner of this project for Redmi Pro and somebody asked me in the RMN4 discord group to port it to RMN4 MTK since they are really similar phones, so I also ported it to RMN4 MTK.

    I have tried many things in order to solve the remaining bugs but without succeed because I am quite new to ROM developing and it does not look easy since there is only 1 mt6797 with stable Android 7 ROMs AFAIK.
