Development [UNOFFICIAL][ROM][13.0][ENCRYPTION] Pixel Experience 13 Plus Edition for A52s 5G

Search This thread
What are the workarounds for the new bootloaders? I really want to try this.
Currently all AOSP ROMs for A52s ship with firmware for all three A13 bootloader revisions that A52s has and dynamically links them on boot so that every bootloader revision gets its correct firmware to have working Wifi.

I don't know if this was already mentioned, but the fingerprint sensor doesn't work reliably while Night Light or Extra Dim is on. Night light seems to also make the scanner light yellow, while Extra Dim also dims the light.
It will most likely be fixed once Ryzen uploads a new build. It will also be fixed with the next LineageOS update from me.

Install Instructions
Make sure you are on OneUI 5 firmware (D bootloader or newer and U2 rev) before flashing this ROM, otherwise the installation might fail or not boot!

  • Make sure your device's bootloader is unlocked.
  • If not done before, flash blank VBMeta with Odin in AP slot.
  • Make sure to have the latest available version of TWRP/OrangeFox installed.
  • If wanted, backup all your necessary partitions (super, boot, vendor_boot, data, EFS) before flashing this in case something goes wrong.
  • Download the PE build for your device from the link below.
  • Flash the PE zip using the "Install" button.
  • Format data in TWRP/OrangeFox as the very last thing, otherwise you may end up in a bootloop if coming from stock ROM.
  • Wipe metadata and cache partitions. This only has to be done once when you install PE.
  • Reboot

my calling has stopped working can you please tell me how i can fix it

Yes, and even though I'm trying out all the versions of BSG GCam it seems to be crashing when using the front camera, even on portrait and normal. AOSP camera works fine though so not really sure. I'm using the scan3d package if that helps.
Depending on GCAM version the location of the setting may vary, on my version of GCAM go: Settings > Configuration of modes, and under "Camera modules" go into all 4 modules find the option "Session ID" and change all 4 modules' Session IDs to "61448" this should fix any freezing.

Yeah, I've fixed it a while ago, I've had the session IDs set to 61448 but the model to Pixel 7 so the app crashed

Very good ROM, smooth and working good. I have encountered a few issues.

-In lockscreen an alarm notification is showing always 10 minutes after the actual time.

-When I flash Pixellify it doesn't work the call recording, the call screening and direct my call. The devs told me it is a ROM issue and that some commits are pending, maybe contacting miatoll devs because it works in their devices.

Suggestion: When charging, show mA, W & V data in the lock screen, like Evolution X, or make it a toggable option. I'd love to see it. Also another toggable for the normal battery graph shown on LOS (see image)

In the last update the UI definitely feels more smoother, however the issue with brightness is still there. For e.x when I unlock the phone or open an app the brightness suddenly changes to very dim and I can't see almost anything and I have to manually change it to be able to see something.
same experience.

smoothness is superb in most cases, but there are still situations when my phone feels sluggish. maybe 10% of interactions?

but anyway, @dev thanks for great ROM! my feedback is not meant negatively.

hi, did you manage to solve this? i have the same issue with similar apps like viber and signal. they work ok once or twice after a reboot but no incoming or outgoing audio afterwards. this is the case for every aosp based rom i've tried so far. funny thing is that, during a video call, video works fine but there is no audio.

please share your solution, if any. thank u.
So when I updated to the latest rom. That problem was solved for me. Whatsapp and Instagram call/video call works good now no issue.
Try updating the rom hope it will solve your problem.

No, it's you who is in the wrong here. It's incredibly annoying having someone bothering you over and over and over again for the same thing, especially when you ask in a thread that has nothing to do with EvolutionX. I agree that you have the right to ask for the ROM to be built, but you should ask in your own thread or as Risen said, learn how to build it yourself.
This stops here. Flaming and disrespect will absolutely not be tolerated on XDA.

In addition, we would all do well to remember that developers who share their work on XDA are not compensated; this is a hobby for most of them, and the best thing you can do is be grateful for the time and effort they have put into their work.

That being said, it is the developer's own prerogative how much time and effort they spend on the project. You as the end user are NOT entitled to updates. DO NOT ask for updates/ETAs/etc; be respectful of the fact that each developer's time is their own. You did not pay for the software, and they owe you nothing.

I highly recommend you read and review the Forum Etiquette linked in my signature.

Damn reading over all this, you guys are asking so much of this man, he made a good working pe rom with nearly no bugs and you guys only ask for more. I have an a51 so I can't flash it but I can appreciate how much work he has put in this rom. Mad respect.

Hi, i am new to rooting and modding in android phones but i get lag spikes in a youtube video when playing back at 1080p 60fps in the first 30 seconds of a video, the battery life lasts more shorter and the phone gets hot more than an other pixel experience build, please try and find a solution to this problem as i personally love the pixel interface
Video playback will be fixed in the next release

This roms works fine expect safety net and the signal bar hope this one be official soon
And can you replace the camera with gcam in next update?
I wont replace stock cam with gcam, however, you can install any gcam app you want and import configs yourself.

Isn't it possible to just install (fully working) gcam as apk? Thanks.
    Yes, it is.
When selecting any option of 60 fps playback, Youtube videos start freezing. Is anybody else having this issue?

Edit: it only seems to happen when the screen is set to 120 hz.
Will be fixed in the next release

Good work, but please add a hide apps from home screen option
Its not a feature in pixel experience so will not exist on this rom

So after few hours with this ROM, I can report some info back, maybe it will help.

I like the fluidity most of the time (switched to 120 Hz), but swipe down for notification and then second swipe for quick toggles are really, really sluggish. Don't know why.

Google wallet is saying that my device is probably rooted, but this can be fixed, I will try to do it again with this ROM (I was successful with previous one)

And camera... It was mentioned before, this camera apk is maybe not the best one and I am not able to find any suitable Gcam version that will work fine with all of the lenses, without bugs and other problems and with good photo quality. And if there's any feature I have had in PE+ rom before and I am missing it now - double touch anywhere on home screen to lock. But I'm not mentioning it because I want to be offensive, just saying. I can get used to it.

All in all I feel very thankful for this early build because I am big fan of Pixel phones and Pixel Experience ROM especially, I have been using this ROM for months with my old Poco.
Google qpr2 is causing the quick settings lag, its affecting all devices, and as such, theres nothing i can do about it sadly
As far as I know, double tap anywhere to lock screen isnt a feature in PE so it will not be present here.
For gcam, you will need the app and a suitable config file to make everything work. Just installing gcam wont give you access to all lenses.
