Don't bother going to the Telegram channel, it's just Pig talking about a ROM he isn't releasing and putting down anyone who asks about it.
Only the 66hz worksDoes any of the existing screen overclocking mods work on this custom rom? And if yes, what is the highest refresh rate you can run stable? (66hz-72hz-75hz)![]()
@PIPIPIG233666 is it safe to flash official twrp now that its out for our device?
After flash this rom I can't boot in to system. Someone have this problem too maybe and know how to fix this ? Or maybe there is any requirements before flashing this rom ?
Try this:Hi, I need some help.
I've read the first 25 pages, and see some people have the same problem and find a issu. But not me.
In resume :
2 weeks ago, I have the 11.0.2.0 global version with TWRP and Magisk. All was fine.
I update the OTA 11.0.3.0 global and after reboot, I've lost TWRP and Magisk, but MIUI working.
Today, I try to install TWRP again. It was a little complicated, but it's OK. I can launch TWRP. But my problem is that. I can ONLY launch TWRP.
I try to install LineageOS 16.0-20190921 because I don't want Gapps and Xiaomi apps not interesting me (and I have a very good experience with my Nexus 5 with Cyanogenmod). Actually impossible to start OS. I can't install this.
This is some try :
Do all the first post (with wipe everything).
My TWRP version is in the link in the OP and launch with the .bat. (include "fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img")
UPDATE - My TWRP version is 3.3.1-11
I've try install LineageOS with sideload and directly in the phone (with adb push command).
I've try with and without install Magisk.
I've try wipe dalvik after install LineageOS befor reboot system.
Actually, when I want to reboot system, TWRP note this : "No OS installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?"
I've try to reinstall LineageOS, the same...
I've try to install MIUI 11.0.2.0, the same again (the 11.0.3.0 not work)...
I've notice this :
With adb sideload, the process finish on the phone before the 50% (and Total xfer: 1.00x on the prompt CMD). I have this message :"detected filesystem ext4 for /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/system". Perhaps it's normal, I'm not sure.
At this point my research don't help me and I lost "temporally" my phone.
Sorry for the long post, and thank you for your help.
Try this:
Wipe system, cache, dalvic cache
FORMAT DATA and type YES
In this case I can't get storage access with windows explorer... and can't boot in recovery anymore..
Nope, its way out of dateAlways loved lineage on mi5, how about mi9t is this up-to-date?
You can recommend a daily usable AOSP? if you tested any out there
I cant. I myself use this rom unfortunatelyYou can recommend a daily usable AOSP? if you tested any out there
Try this:
Flash stock miui fastboot rom
Flash twrp
Boot to twrp
Wipe system, cache, dalvic cache
FORMAT DATA and type YES
Install lineage os
Flash gapps of choice
Reboot to system
Reboot to recovery
Install magisk
Reboot to system
Check if it works
Thanks.
What I do :
Flash via Rom stock Fastboot with this tuto.
After this, I can use normaly my phone with MIUI 11.0.1.0 Global. But, I lost the Unlock Satut.
So, re-install Mi Unlock and run it. Fortunately, not wait 7 days.
Flash TWRP 3.3.1-11 -> OK
Wipe Dalvik, Cache and System -> OK
Format Data -> OK
Install via sideload LineageOS 16.0-20190921 -> at 50% in prompt command, the phone finished.
No Gapps
Reboot system -> Warnig "No OS installed..." :crying:
I slide to reboot, and... I see a new screen... LineageOS load :victory:
I complete the first step and reboot to TWRP.
I flash Magisk and new reboot to OS.
Let's go to a long time full of install, copy and setup :fingers-crossed:
I'm so happy, thanks a lot Saboorpatel !!!
