Best way to remove system app is delete its folder from /system/app.
If not there check it in /system/PRIV-APP.
Hope it helps.

What I do :
Flash via Rom stock Fastboot with this tuto.
After this, I can use normaly my phone with MIUI 11.0.1.0 Global. But, I lost the Unlock Satut.
So, re-install Mi Unlock and run it. Fortunately, not wait 7 days.
Flash TWRP 3.3.1-11 -> OK
Wipe Dalvik, Cache and System -> OK
Format Data -> OK
Install via sideload LineageOS 16.0-20190921 -> at 50% in prompt command, the phone finished.
No Gapps
Reboot system -> Warnig "No OS installed..." :crying:

I slide to reboot, and... I see a new screen... LineageOS load :victory:
I complete the first step and reboot to TWRP.
I flash Magisk and new reboot to OS.

Let's go to a long time full of install, copy and setup :fingers-crossed:

Yep when sideloading it shows no os installed. U can directly flash zip throught twrp though.

In the first time, I've tried with sideload and directly with TWRP. Same result.

I have not uninstall Gapps. LineageOS come without Gapps. That's why I choose this.

I have a question about this ROM. The camera don't work like I want. I buy this phone for the triple module camera. With the LineageOS stock app, I can't choose nothing.

I've try to use another app (urnyx, GoogleCamera), but not work. There is no screen, these app not start, crash immediatly.

Some ideas for use all camera's modules ?

Clear app data for gcam. They should work fine.

For those having issues with boot loop, make sure you format data (NOT wipe, the format option) before and after flashing ROM + OGapps (if desired).

Magisk can always be installed later and it may be beneficial to wait until the rom is booted and working.

I have the option OEM unlocking turned on in developers settings.
Do I have to also enable Mi Unlock Status or it's not needed?

I clear app's data, I uninstall/reinstall, try another Gcam app, nothing. Crash immediatly.

I try with Open Camera, and I can change camera module, but not 48 Mpixel.

Also, OTG don't work.
With stock ROM, OTG works with Fat32 and exFat format.

Finally, after some days with this custom ROM, only Camera stock app and OTG missed me. All the rest is fine. Bye bye Google's apps and Xiaomi's cloud and apps. :fingers-crossed:

I would not recommend flashing build from this thread. Its outdated as hell and fingerprint doesnt work at all. (Works in every other rom)

I did not recommend that either. The dev mentioned to further work on it for himself, so perhaps he might share his progress with others if asked...

Anyone have an issue with Google Services (might've been Play services, I can't remember) stopped working the past few days? Mine kept saying stopped working until I disabled/force stopped it and restarted my phone. Then i've been signed out of my Google account on the phone and can't contact the servers to sign back in. Tried re-flashing Gapps, but the same issue.
I'm gonna try a different rom, since this one hasn't been updated in a long time, but just checking to see if anyone else had the same problem.

I've installed TWRP and Lineageos, but when I reboot my phone, he boot into TWRP recovery all the times instead of the System boot? Can you help me ?

    Instructions :
    You need a PC with ADB & Fastboot available
    Download recovery
    Reboot to fastboot
    Run: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    Press volume & power up until you see TWRP logo
    Enter your password (if it prompts)
    Go to Wipe
    Select Advanced Wipe
    Select system & cache & internal storage and press wipe
    Go back (press back twice)
    1. ADB method:
    Select “Advanced”, “ADB Sideload”, then swipe to begin sideload.
    On the host machine, sideload the package using: adb sideload filename.zip (Replace filename with actual filename
    2.Directly install method:
    Copy ROM to internal storage.
    Select "Install",choose the ROM, then swipe to begin installation.
    You may flash OpenGapps and or Magisk
    Reboot

    Note: We have DRM L1 support,don't worry about Netflix.
