Instructions
MarshMallow bootloader is required or you will not be able to boot the rom !

1. Download the latest build
2. Reboot to TWRP
3. If you want to be sure wipe the device
4. Flash the latest build
5. Reboot and enjoy

OTA is available with recent builds.

Easily rootable with the great Magisk (stable) by @topjohnwu.

Exchange2 for Oreo is included and will be installed as system-app (I need this for my work).

As you can see I use it as daily driver without major issues.

I use microG as google replacement and for push-services, signature-spoofing is already build into the rom but need to be granted manually (as root):

pm grant com.google.android.gms android.permission.FAKE_PACKAGE_SIGNATURE

I am already using tioguda's validus rom....
Its fast and stable... Now i will test your rom on my j500f...
If i backup data from tioguda's rom and restore in your rom is it will work or not ???

Only camera recording bug in stock app
In third party app you can record video too...
Overall best oreo rom...

This ROM uses the same fonts as LineageOS 15.1 and then it will display the same bugs, so do not ask what its bugs are.

BT works in general, my headphone also works as headset (microphone and speaker), just media over bt is not working, so no a2dp.
Car audio is not tested, but I did not find a (aosp based) custom rom with working car-bt so far (for J5).

I use the same kernel as the unofficial LineageOS 15.1, so yes, zram should be there.

I did not use tioguda's build, because mine was already running, when he first published it, but as far as I know he used the same device-tree and (most likely) the same Validus-tree, so no big difference (if at all).
According to his screenshots, the kernel was the same, but build with gcc 4.8 (or 4.9) mine is build with gcc 7.2.

Flashed this rom on j500h, everything is running smooth. But after flashing magisk, magisk maneger is not opening, just stuck at its logo. Any solution?
