Yes if you get bootloop just go to recovery and do a factory reset

Right now I got no PC at hand will do so I can ty all RR and many other ROMs and multirom too now I got cm 13 for mm it works fine (just installed)

Flashed this rom (lineage-13.0-20170515-NIGHTLY-j53gxx.zip) to my SM-J500H/DS but it hangs on bootanimation. I believe I'm on LP bootloader (since I was able to downgrade from stock 6.0.1 to stock 5.1..1). Any hints what to check?
I did factory reset.
UPD: flashing TWRP 3.1 from the header post helped. Mine was 3.0

I have built the rom from source code, used cm13_manifest.xml. But unfortunately the phone doesn't boot up, hangs on boot animation. While Vince's builds from grandprime.ddns.net boot OK.

I enabled logging in Vince's build, flashed my one and collected logcat: pastebin.ubuntu.com/24746735/ (sorry I can't post urls here yet)

I see there that Zygote fails to start:

Vince - any hints what to look at? I'm going to check if vendor blobs are the same in our builds.

BTW I see gt510wifi_lineage-13.0.xml in local manifests, what its purpose is? I didn't use it.

This IS a LineageOS build thread, so I don't understand what you mean.

As a reminder:

The former jenkins domain (grandprime.ddns.net) is now defunct, and the new domain for Jenkins builds will be https://jenkins.msm8916.com

As such there will be NO OTAs for all images from before today, and to update your device you WILL need to manually download an update at either https://download.msm8916.com or https://jenkins.msm8916.com

This only needs to be done once. After installing an update from 28/08/2017 or 29/08/2017, your device should be receiving OTAs again.

i installed > lineage-13.0_j3_20170904_NIGHTLY-j5nlte.zip < and i have inset sim card but it doesnt detect the sim why is that and how to fix it ??

Just awesome update. Thanks. I know that this thread doesnt have too much view and people but this is the best nougat rom out there. Keep it up pls

To Users:
Pretty much stable, camera works fine, onky bug is that on front flash when taking a picture the photo is black even whit flash led activated. Selfie flash is a workaround.
Everything else is working like a charm.

This rom won't be supported from now on. It's a loss of time trying to fix something on a rom that only a few users use. There is another rom made by Vince which is LOS 14.1 and it's better and much more updated than this one.
So, i suggest you to upgrade to the latest LineageOS 14.1 build since this rom will be abandoned!

I'm using J500H, September 11th build, and the SIM card is not detected. Anyone faces a similar issue?
(I know the ROM will be abandoned, just pushing my luck a bit. Lineage OS 14.1 is a bit slow compared to other ROMs).

It's a known bug popped up in the latest builds. It won't be fixed since the dev is abandoning los 13. I suggest you to switch to los 14.1 which is really great and frankly N is better than MM.
