I noticed that the phone dose not charge up to 100%, i tride 2 different batteries but the result is the same sometime it goes up to 81% but usually it sticks at 70%
Guys does netflix app work on this rom? Can it be downloaded from playstore??
No by default, but i think safetynet can be passed with some tweaks
Same with the bootledgers rom

I haven't try it myself, but Magisk + Magiskhide props config seems to work, as said by bootledgers deb.
If you don't want download and Pip feautures, just download latest apk ( from apk mirror for example) and an error will give you the latest version for rooted devices

You need to pass SafetyNet for it to work so you have to install the latest Magisk version + This Module by @Didgeridoohan
Do you know what is the latest ROM for the J500M that works without problems or system lag? I'm using Lineage 15.1-20180427-NIGHTLY-j5lte but it has started to fail closing apps and had lag.

Not true at all. I have explained a lot of time here as well as on other threads. The Play version wont work without Safetynet. But they have another version compatible with such devices. Install it from Play, then when you open it, it will prompt to go to website and download a compatible version. Go there, select arm and install the apk after you uninstall the Play version

Steps to produce this.
1. Download latest lineage os 15.1 build j114.
2. Download latest MindTheGapps package. Selected zip is MindTheGapps-8.1.0-arm-20180610_023943.zip.
3. Wipe/Format data, cache, system, dalvik, internal.
4. Flash lineage and wipe dalvik and cache. Reboot.
5. Now flash MindTheGapps and reboot.
6. Try adding google account.

Update :
As told by many other users and successfully tested by me. Aroma package is working flawlessly.
Steps to set up GApps Aroma Installer.
1. Download open_gapps-arm-8.1-aroma-20180706.zip
2. Now flash it and choose the apps you want to install.
3. The setup will crash and bring you back to TWRP. This is because some apps are not compatible with the device.
4. Now select minimal apps which are not available on play store.
5 If TWRP restricts you from rebooting the phone. Remove battery and restart.
6. It works like a charm.

Device : j500f
Lineage : 15.1-20180623
Kernel : 3.10.108-g35d96397f24

Yes, but that version doesn't have download option, and it doesnt heve the latest feautures like the new UI and Pip video. And it will never be updated.

I have J500FN. I trying to install this ROM and gapps.
ROM J53_20180624 install successfully and things are working.
I am trying to install gapps as well. However, with aroma ( 2406 and 0607), it just do not boot after installing.
I tried pico version as well. with this one, it boots easily. But "google play service" keeps on closing.
I am installing gapps, because I want to use below functionalities
1. Sync contacts and calendar with default apps or gapps from accounts like google or yahoo etc
2. to be able to use google keep and drive to sync my notes and documents.
Others I am happy to use apks, if needed.
I found one article on shadow53, stating how to sync calendar and contacts.(Sorry I am not allowed post outside links) But this also needs working "Google play services".
It provides its own version called MicroG. But I am not sure how safe is it and how to check if this works with LineageOS.
Appreciate any help, in any method that can get these functionality running.
Please note, I am not a usual tweaker of the phone with ROM or other programs. Trying this as Samsung stock was too heavy and no space left and becoming too slow.

Is microG safe?? Its a lot safer than Google as Google keeps all your info. Microg is an alternative to play services and lineage have there own "microg for lineage" on there website I believe. What version of gapps are you trying to install? And are you rooted with Magisk and what version?
If it is aroma gapps on the new Magisk 16.6 than it probably won't work as a few changes have been made to the latest Magisk release and Samsung phones are having trouble booting if its an aroma rom or gapps.
Try pico gapps from opengapps.org
The aroma installer crashes because certain apps are not compatible with the device.
