Don't wipe anything. Its an update. What wipe do I need to do in case I already use this rom but I Want to update it to the latest build? Will I lose data? Thanks in advance
Noted.Hi,
just want to report that there is no 3.2.3 twrp build for j500fn/j5nlte available on download server.
But its on artifacts.
You could probably update the rom. I had the same problem with a few apps on an older version around that date so just update the romi can't install free fire game. the error is your device may not be compatible with app.
i am using July 26 build model(J500H)
I'm in the middle of transitioning dns entries between servers, and i hadn't noticed that some entries were missing. That should be resolved in a few days.Hi all,
I recently "recycled" my J500FN with 15.1. Works great, thank you :good:
At the moment I try to get along with updates. For now OTA updates fail. I tracked my network and found out, that my J5 wants to contact a server named ota15.msm8916.com - which is apparently not listed in DNS.
Does it work for anyone? Or am I missing something?
Thanks in advance!
Andreas
Thank you, I'll try in the next days :good:I'm in the middle of transitioning dns entries between servers, and i hadn't noticed that some entries were missing. That should be resolved in a few days.
Use TWRP 3.2.3-0 and maybe it will workHi all,
I wiped with twrp 3.2.1 but when the installation starts even the setup is slow and crashing. With 14.1 i don't had problems. What am I doing wrong?
I tried to update it from 3.2.1 to 3.2.3 with odin, but it always fails.Use TWRP 3.2.3-0 and maybe it will work
Try flashing the update using the Official TWRP app on Play Store.I tried to update it from 3.2.1 to 3.2.3 with odin, but it always fails.
Thanks for the answer, i figured out the problem now. I used twrp v 3.2.1 (20180725) but i needed version 3.2.1 from (20180327). Now the setup was finished without errors, but the OS was still unusable slow. I have no idea what is the problem, maybe i will move back to 14.1Try flashing the update using the Official TWRP app on Play Store.
Here's what I did.
After installation of the said app:
> Be sure to get the correct recovery file(s) for your device. Extract the flashable recovery to anywhere in Internal / External (microSD) storage (as long as you end up in .img format)
> Open the app, tick the agree box (except the last one).
> Grant the app Root Access once the Superuser Request pops up.
> Select "Select files to flash", locate your extracted recovery file (.img), then tap "Flash to recovery" and confirm by tapping "Okay" on the next popup.
> Then wait until it says "Flashed successfully". Close the app then reboot to recovery to verify if flashed successfully.
