nice work its really awesome and i really loved it. every thing seems fine except hotspot when i want to turn it on it says error and some times system becomes slow and freezes a while (j500f)

just go to setting , network & internet , mobile network, advanced, access point names, click on plus button and set config based on your simcard's service provider and save it and enable it. then you will connect to network

Download the recovery and using a file explorer just extract the image from the .tar file

I installed and face two major bugs:

- Homebutton not working at all
- apps are not downloading in playstore

- no link to settings availible from quick settings menu?!

Can anyone help? Should I use oreo version? Is it more stable?

Update: Didn't know the cpu is already 64bit. Therefore arm64 gapps need to be flashed.

no you dont need 64bit gapps since j5's cpu is arm not arm64
and i also mentioned on the bootlegger's thread that you must use either microG or opengapps for google services to work(also fixes quick settings bug because i faced that bug when i flashed mindthegapps)
