No, it is not. The SOC of G531H is different than G50H.

HI i installed LineageOS GO 16 on my SM G530H XCU and my issues were:
- apps/games doesnt function well at times..force stops at worst
- trust security, is it common that SELinux and Root is disabled? but i installed Magisk Manager tho
- NO text to speech, tried installing Google text to speech but settings force stops it, doesnt work
BUT it was very smooth especially when browsing on browsers..i loved it, but the apps/games![]()
Both SIM cards not detected, USB not detected on both Windows and Linux (doesn't even show up with lsusb, went to developer settings and enable MTP by default, no change), doesn't detect charging either (only appears to charge when turned off). Mine is technically G530BT (dual SIM XXU model with DTV) but I've read it shouldn't make a difference to G530H. I flashed the G530H latest build, and tried RR 7.0.0 unofficial and same problems. Could use some help.
Hmm.. try to flash the latest firmware of G530BT and flash the latest unofficial TWRP by Vince and flash the rom.
I'm guessing android Q won't be coming to our GP
My gf uses this device since I've bought a new one, always try to keep her phone up and going.
Huge thanks to Vince for keeping the GP such a long way.
Is there a definitive reason why Q won't be supported?
Have you seen any technical documentation saying so?
My friend is an android dev
he told me to upgrade my device because msm8916_32 will not be supported by Android Q

Mine is technically G530BT (dual SIM XXU model with DTV) but I've read it shouldn't make a difference to G530H aside from DTV. I flashed the G530H latest LineageOS Go 16 build, and tried Ressurection Remix O.S. 7.0.0 unofficial and same problems. Could use some help.
Laggy for me, get the 15.1 Go instead, stable enough in my experience.

* Download a recent .zip file from the links above for your device.
* Reboot into recovery mode [Press Power+Volume Up+Home].
* Wipe your data and cache partition (equivalent to doing a Factory Reset)
if you are coming from a stock ROM.
* Either: Plug in your phone into your computer, copy the zip file to a location on your Internal or External Storage on a device, click Install on TWRP on your phone and locate the zip file in the phone, or:
* Plug in your phone into your computer, and open Advanced->ADB Sideload on TWRP on your phone and swipe the slider to enter sideload mode.
Then open a command prompt/terminal on your computer in the folder you put the file by Shift-Clicking (Shift+Right Click) and selecting "Open Command Prompt/Terminal Here" (you will need to have adb installed) and type:
adb sideload name_of_zip.zip
to sideload the file. Replace name_of_zip.zip with the name of the file. If you are running Linux you may need to type adb kill-server and use sudo adb sideload if you get an `Insufficient Permissions` error.
* Download and flash GApps in the same way.
