Hello,

i tried to install this room but the zip installation process ends inmediately with 1 saying its for gta4l but the device is gta4lwifi (which isnt through its the LTE variant) and also with the latest LTE Firmware T505XXU4CWD1.
Any advice? Just to be sure, how to flash the two img exactly? To flash with odin do i need to repack thoose two files into one tar?

To flash with Odin, I used 7-zip to right click and compress the 2 files into 1 tar file. Then used the AP slot to flash.

I tried flashing the recovery.img, vbmeta.img tar file today but failed at first step.
OEM lock in developer options is definitely set to off but when in download mode it shows that OEM lock is on, I rechecked twice.
I tried flashing using Odin and flash failed 'Auth', Download mode also showed that OEM lock stopped flash. I rechecked developer options and it is definitely set to off.
Any ideas how I can sort this please?

You have to reboot the stock rom after unlocking the bootloader.

Thanks for the replies, my problem was the long press on volume up when booting into download mode.
I finally have it flashed and up and running with several apps installed and tweaked to my liking.
After the first boot I had problems passing the Google sign in page as I don't want, or need, a google account on this tablet as It is mainly used on stage for backing music and lyrics, it runs very smoothly and seems more responsive than the android 12 stock rom.
The only negative for me is the lack of twrp, I will run it for a while in case there is a twrp released for this model.
Its fantastic that we have an Android 13 custom rom for this tablet so many thanks to the developer.

yup it works.
Only in prime video we get 720p but
netflix and all other ott run at 1080p no problems.

Prime video works with 1080p.

I cannot even reload the software from this thread as the vbmeta/recovery tarfile also fails for the same reasons.
Any idea's how to cure my problem please?

Flash full stock rom and start again with unlock prozess.

Unfortunately I have done that twice with the same results, no OEM lock option in developer options, but will try again tomorrow. The wife is nagging me at the moment and after 54 years I have been trained to listen.

I have now fixed the problem, KG status was showing as prenormal and now back to status checking. Flashed new firmware no problem.

Also new kernel 4.19.282 without Samsung's encryption addons - this means the old installations will not boot anymore and you have to wipe.

The tree was force-pushed with latest version. It has now also the defconfig - sorry for that.
