crDroid is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device also attempting to bringing many of the best features existent today. We're mainly based on LineageOS so use custom kernels compatible with them!

Welcome to the new beginning! This topic will be dedicated to our bring up of PIE for the Redmi 3S/3X/prime aka land. Sincere thanks to LineageOS team for the rom base sources.

These are BETA, yet stable builds (stable enough to be used as a daily driver). They aim to serve base for feature addition (although there are many right now). If you face any force close, you need to provide log to get it resolved. Make sure to keep eye on this post and latest discussions in this topic to help yourself.

Flashing instructions:
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, data & dalvik cache
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Flash Magisk
9) Boot up

Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid Pie:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Everything is fine. Im using this rom from the day it was released. 2 major things that I want to see is
1. Better Battery Backup and calibration. Although it could give me a SOT of 5 hours with a full charge to 10%.This also includes some heavy gaming like Pubg for over 1 and half hours but the idle battery drain is a bit high and sometimes The battery percentage does not go down for quite a bit of time then it suddenly slips down by about 5 to 8 percent immediately.
2.Please Add Gcam as the default camera. Every pie rom has that.
3.Add Double Tap 2 wake.
Although the existing customization is fair enough but more will be welcomed.
Apart from the battery issue the rom is fantastic and can easily be used as a daily driver right now.
