Unrevoked for hboot 2.02?

My father-in-law just got an Evo and he wants to root it but he doesn't want to leave it with me long enough for me to root it the long way like in the hboot 2.02 root guide. So my question is has anyone heard if unrevoked3 is going to modify the program they have to include the new hboot 2.02? If not won't unrevoked3 for the Evo basically just die? What I mean is if every new Evo can't be rooted with unrevoked3 won't it just be useless?

I hope they update it but they didn't come out with an update for the phones that have 3.30.651.2 on them yet either. I don't know if they abandoned unrevoked or just can't come up with something. They usually had a solution within a couple of days from a new OTA but 3.30 and Hboot 2.02 have been out for a while and nothing. I don't use twitter and that's where they make a lot of their announcements so you may want to check their twitter feed for activity.
