Unrooting s4mini i9195

Hello guys,

Previously I have rooted my S4mini with the advices given from this forum.

However, I am going to pass my phone over to my sister.

Do i have to unroot the phone first before reformatting it? I remember my software ended with ML4 previously.Doesn't matter if the warranty is voided. I just want it to look like its new from a shop.

I am not very sure of the process of unrooting. I have read http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2521928 guide but the software I'm unsure which I should download or what I should do. I reside in Singapore.

I have found this website that has the firmwares but im unsure which to download. http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/

Can anyone please offer me some advice? Thanks !

Go into your phones settings and goto about device their it will tell you your android version and phone model, now goto sammobile and search your phone model now match your country and android version.

Now after you have downloaded that open odin and and put your device into download mode by powering off your device and holding in the home + power + volume up button, then press the volume up button to put your device in download mode, then connect it up with your computer, wait for odin to recognize your device then hit PDA or AP and select the .md5 file you just downloaded, now it may freeze but just leave it for abit, then after that click start...

Wait for your device to finish, if it says failed, then download the recovery.tar.md5 in m attachments and open up odin and repeat the process then when your device loads back up, do a factory reset, then you are fully unrooted and back to stock.
