Check out Post #12 in this thread. Since you are still on .19, you can just download the appropriate repair archive from the linked thread. Once you are updated to .31, follow the steps in the How To Root thread, beginning with booting from TWRP and pulling a copy of the kernel.Ok I'm sorry this is a little more complex than my 6T was I apologise I'm lost on restore userdata and pulling a new copy of the kernel (I'm assuming boot.img)
