yes indeed....me and my wife as well...me on my xz2c and hers is a xz2 (non-c)
it went so far that i could not accept/decline an incoming phone call...
Do u also happen to have that problem when ur typing and suddenly notification bar pulls down and sometimes u touch and it registers it somewhere else on the screen. I'm asking this just to make sure that it's happening after this update ty.

to be honest: only the last part.
for me and my wife it is more random and not typically connected to the notification bar...just ghost fingers...

Thank you for replying, so it could be related to this patch. If u start to notice that notification bar thing let me know cause in the past ppl had this similar issue with xz2 compact. One more thing when this touch problem occurs i lock my phone and clean my screen and unlock and the touch starts to work fine.

Ok, meanwhile should i do something? Can i use normally the phone?
Yes, use normally. In about one week battery drain should be normal.

However, I have not updated because of various bug of Android 10.
Apart battery drain, do you noticed other bugs with the ultimate update?
Voice notes, fingerprint, gps, notification bar, etc?

Not only variable volume audio, voices note not working (mute sound) after sending five or six voice notes.
Notification bar going down automatically without doing nothing (for example during typing a message).

Yes i noticed the bug of voice notes, luckly It don t happen often, but i had the same problem with Xperia xz1 compact. So this is a bug that here comes with android 10, pffft. I m pretty sure that i don t have a problem with notification bar, but i noticed that in call thickness the screen turn on and turn off in a very flashy way.

It's almost time for another monthly update, let's hope sony fixes any problems this time and let's hope the touch issue disappears, as well as others, have any of you found a workaround for them yet? I am writing this using my xperia xz2 compact that I downgraded from Android 10 to 9 but I'm still suffering from the ghost touch issue

A question about this update & future releases.

I have kept on 9 and stopped software update running so the update ready will be the original 52.1..a. 0.532. Should I decide to update, do I have to go through every release if OTA. Or, is it better to use companion or Newflasher to bypass all the previous poor ones. I am not bothered about losing data so which would be best and why?

I would really stay in 9, I don't know about this but some people say that once you get 10 it won't matter if you downgrade to 9 (as I did) because they say there are parts of the system/hardware that cannot be downgraded. But I can't confirm anything.

Also about skipping the OTA updates, I would recommend you to go through all of them because In my experience, things like for example the voice notes issue fade a bit, I mean, such issue it's still there but it is not as bad (I believe that when you update through OTA, there will be some reminiscences from the Android 9 system/ settings /cache that will make issues like the voice notes to fade a bit)

I really hope Sony will release a new minor update next month to fix all the problems, so maybe all the people on Android 9 (like me) can update happy to 10.

Did anyone test screen mirroring issue? Is it fixed or still black screen?
I don't have an option to test it at the minute.
