I received the Verizon APH1 update today for the S7
Android Security Patch level Sept. 1, 2016
Might be nothing more than a security update, don't see any additional features mentioned.

Security Update and probably a few patched areas. Nothing groundbreaking but its good to see Samsung submitting updates. Security Patch September 1, 2016.

Why do you use Foxfi? My Verizon s7 edge let's me use the native Hotspot.

No I don't. I just have a ton of data to use per month. Verizon blocks tethering if you're on udp? I had that years ago.

When I try to turn it on it pops up that I need to subscribe to mobile hotspot service. My line doesn't have unlimited data but the rest of the family does. I think it all depends in the plan you're on. The "new Verizon plan" includes it for example. I use foxfi in the rare situation I need to tether and it works fine.
