looks a bit better than what i got on honor 6 in october 2015.

but it seems you're using to much bits of the stock rom. it's looking for hwservices.jar which is part of the huawei framework.
add it and it will ask for the next few bits of the huawei framework. if you continue to play this game you'll probably end up having the stock rom running on your phone. ;)

i assume if you remove the huawei bits which are depending on hwservices.jar it will stop booting and you're back at zero.
it's a nice and time consuming game.

Edit: See what you did there. You've used libui, libgui, libhwui and libsurfaceflinger from stock rom. That's the graphics stuff i talked about. These stuff should be compiled from CM sources or the whole thing will break sooner or later. But using the stuff compiled from CM sources will not work because it's missing the magic huawei bits they won't release and gralloc will start yelling at you.
Same for libmedia and libmedia_jni. It's highly incompatible to the AOSP/CM framework.
Then, it is impossible to not Cianogen mod on this mobile?
there is a possibility?

I completely agree with you. I will never in my life own another Huawei device. At least not until they sort their s*** out.

It's such a shame, because the hardware is so amazing, but the software.... It sucks!

To be fair I think the stock MM ROM is quiet good to me when you remove bloatware.

Else about CM, I don't think we can say we're 100% sure it's not possible. This happened to me twice now that people say it's probably impossible but succeed with a lot of time (which I don't really have..). For example for the tegra 4i and Amazon Kindle fire hdx (this one took me around 6 month, ouch). The problem is I can play a few hours here and here with it, it could take ages, or even never as @codeworkx said.

I ended up trading mime for another flagship. The only reason I was holding onto this device was because of battery. I had the note 5, s6 and edge variants, none of those satisfied my needs as of battery. We should all go for a Nexus device the next time.

It's possible but the result might not be what you'd expect from CM.
With enough hackery and enough time you might get it working (with a ton of bugs) but you'll never be able to integrate it cleanly into the official cyanogenmod repos.
Therefore you'll never get official nightly builds and no official support (see cm-11 for honor 6).

Yes for sure, I totally agree with that. It's also one of the reason I can't spend too much time on that, but we will see.

I am new to android. I want to build AOSP rom for our device. Can I use the manifest xml file present here? Also I have the MT7-TL10 Will it work the device tree, kernel and proprietary blobs of MT7-L09?

Thanks in advance.

there is one last chance to our mate, I've red some rumors about that Huawei is working on emui 5.0 that will be very close to vanilla android, let's hope it is true.. ????

08/01 Update - AOSP

Today is an important day for Mate7 developing scene. A few weeks ago I re-started to work on cm but I realized that cyanogenmod framework (based on Android 6.0.1) is incompatible with the stock libraries provided in the stock ROM (based on Android 6.0) and that you are obliged to use to get the GPU work, so if huawei will change his way to write libraries (especially adapting them to Android AND NOT adapting Android to them) mainly for the next generation of phones, we could see a true implementation of other ROMs. As I didn't want to throw all the work done to the wind I switched to the Android AOSP the same version of the stock ROM, 6.0. So i worked for about an entire week, day and night, to get the stock ROM to boot and on the 29th of July I succeded. Then was very easy to get the wifi and bluetooth to work but the main problem was the telephony layer. After millions of trials and errors I get the ril-daemon to work but the aosp framework didn't recognize the signals sent by the modem, as they talk two different languages. I decided to decompile the huawei framework and there, after searching in millions of lines and after two entire days I realized were the problem was.
Today I built a perfectly booting AOSP ROM for the Mate7 where WiFi, Bluetooth, Telephony and 4G are working. But there are other things to fix, the system often crashes so I don't want to release anything for now but when I will reach an acceptable system I will start releasing the ROM.
