You need to follow the SD card thread below. I had the same issue but it works now.
Basically, using an external SD card the way we have used it in the past doesn't work anymore. Technically it works, but it appears that very few apps are configured to properly ask for the new permission required for "read/write external storage" and unlike LP there is no way to change this at the system level. You can do hybrid storage or you can write to each app developer and beg them to update their code.??? And how?? The Thread you talk about is only about Hybrid and Internal and not about External Use.
Working fine here. You could try to clear Dolphin Browser data and cache from settings app and reboot to see if that helps.I just installed the latest firmware and it works fine but the Dolphin Browser isn't working. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the quick suggestion. Unfortunately it didn't fix the Dolphin Browser problem. I even reinstalled the 6.0.1 firmware but that didn't fix the issue either. All other browsers work, so I am just not going to use Dolphin for now.Working fine here. You could try to clear Dolphin Browser data and cache from settings app and reboot to see if that helps.
they didn't update it, not sony's fault, also crappy on my nexus 6Thanks for the quick suggestion. Unfortunately it didn't fix the Dolphin Browser problem. Just another input....I was using your 5.1.1 firmware prior to upgrading to 6.0.1. Everything worked just fine including the Dolphin browser. Strange.
Thanks,
Randy

****!WARNING: Don't force Sony Marshmallow Devices to use SD Card as internal Memory via ADB Shell. At first it seems to work. But if the normal internal memory is reached the Systems goes crazy because it scores the amount of available Memory at - and not in +. The ADB Shell Hack is only working correctly for Samsung and LG Devices!
What are you basing this on? I have been searching around ever since you posted this, and can't find any evidence that backs up your assertion. I'm obviously concerned as I've done the shared storage and it has been working well so far. Where did you hear that this will eventually break on Sony products but not others?WARNING: Don't force Sony Marshmallow Devices to use SD Card as internal Memory via ADB Shell. You can see my comment above. I combined my 16 internal with a very fast 128 card and am happy so far, but obviously concerned with what redlabour said.****!
I 'm still waiting on the official OTA on my SGP511, and that's almost the only reason I wanted Marshmallow , the device has only 16Gb , just installed a quick uSD of 64Gb for expanding storage... scheisse, merde, mierda!

Thanks. Sure I can. Basically you can't directly root MM firmware. So you have to downgrade to rootable one with Flashtool. Since you have SGP512 you can use my rootable firmware from op and there is also link to instructions how to do it. After you have working root with read/write access to system install NUT's Dualrecovery. With working TWRP you can flash this prerooted MM firmware or make your own if you want to.kulvertti, friend. thanks for your attention to xperia firmware and what you do...

If you make your own notice that with MM firmware you can't at the moment use NUT's Dualrecovery because It is not compatible yet. Instead use @Wolfbreak RecRoot v3 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=65856403. Last If you have bootloop issue with your ROM that you made see post #256 in this thread to see how to fix it.
This ain't compatible with your device. Different hardware.Hey everyone I've got an SPG311 (UK z2) do you know if this room will also work for this version or is there even a version for the UK version or would I need to wait till it releases here?
