I'm having the exact same issues with the latest build : Adaway can't create the host file, YouTube won't play any video, no gifs In Relay for Reddit, etc. All these apps in their same version work fine in CM12.Thanks, I'll try it out. I had to reverse to CM12 because this build was way too buggy : no playback in YouTube, Adaway and TiBU not working, gifs never loading in Relay for Reddit, etc.
That is weird. Try to flash Dualrecovery again with TWRP and report back.I'm having the exact same issues with the latest build : Adaway can't create the host file, YouTube won't play any video, no gifs In Relay for Reddit, etc. All these apps in their same version work fine in CM12.
I don't understand why this is happening. I made a full wipe before flashing.
Any idea?

1. Nope. With just root it might be possible but because Dualrecovery make some changes in system partiotion and OTA will check if it is untouched.Hi guys,
just received my new Tab Z2 32gb. Due the lack of prerooted ROMs for the SGP512 i created my own prerooted ROM, which works fine. Its a great Tablet (my first) and iam happy i got the z2 over the z4 and saved a bunch of money.
Now i have two Questions:
1. Is it possible to update a flashed StockROM as OTA-Update?
2. Do i lose my Recovery's or Root when updating via OTA (if possible)?
Thanks for your help and sorry for posting into this Thread
Best regards,

This seems to be a Sony bug across all WiFi modelsJust tried latest .570 build on my German SGP511 and it works fine. Only issue: it shows "No service" ("Kein Dienst") in status bar as if it was missing a SIM-card. My tablet is Wi-Fi only.
I had the same problem with Adaway. After reflashing Dualrecovery the problem is gone. That is weird. Try to flash Dualrecovery again with TWRP and report back.
Yes, look like it is. Those R6C mean´s only customization version (customizer´s revision) assigned only by the operator (in this case VMo). And you can actually install this OTA if you want to.I'm on this ROM and it's now offering me a small (0.2 MB) OTA update with the same version number.
Is that the R6C version that is mentioned here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62582227&postcount=26
You mean we can install it and not lose root or custom recovery and nothing else bad will happen?Yes, look like it is. Those R6C mean´s only customization version (customizer´s revision) assigned only by the operator (in this case VMo). And you can actually install this OTA if you want to.
Yes, exactly. You mean we can install it and not lose root or custom recovery and nothing else bad will happen?

There is no need to flash firmwares from 4.30 to this one by one.Appreciate its a long shot but does anyone know if you an update from 23.0.1.a.4.30 to this? Or do i have to flash the updates in-between one by one. My tablet has been in hibernation for a while and was looking for a quick way to update without having to relock the bootloader
Make sure your bootloader is locked. Or try relocking it. I had this problem and locking the bootloader fixed it!Excellent. Worked like a charm, with a factory reset. But both ES Explorer & folder mount report root problems. Root checker says all is ok.
