Hello,

The installation went very well. Everything works perfectly. But I have a problem with the directory permissions system /. I cannot pass him in write mode. I tried with root explorer, with adb remount function and others. I originally wanted to remove bloatwares but titanium backup cannot and system app remover either. Can you help me please?
Reflashing Dualrecovery might help you.

Hey I've been having issues with the write access to system when I flash the recovery as you and a few other posts say to fix the write access, it gives me write access but I seem to lose the recovery tablet refused to go in to any of the recoveries but when I flash Cwm from flash tool it won't boot the rom till I reflash the prf.zip but I lose system access again seem to be going around in circles. Any advice would be great

Remove any other custom recovery completely from your device and use pc installer to install Dualrecovery. To have write access to system you basically need to kill Sony ric when device boot. Dualrecovery do that for you but there is also separate tool for that here in XDA. If your bootloader is unlocked you may want to use advanced kernel instead of stock one.

OK cheers I see what you mean I've seen the flashable zip for the ric killer
I have unlocked my bootloader and where is the kernel I should be using? Link would be great
I had the custom Cwm recovery from doomlord am I mistaken in thinking the kernel was included the recovery zip it's how I flashed your Fw

Cheers I flashed the kernel but for the wrong firmware version my bad jumped the gun a bit there
So I'm in a bit stuck as to it will boot to the blue waves but will restart
I'm guessing a fresh start with FTF then a reinstall of the kernel and then prerooted firmware will set things right I hope cheers for pointing me towards the kernel

Thanks for the hard work.. Btw, xposed (latest version for lollipop on XDA) seems to break this ROM as apps randomly disappear on reboot. Without xposed, all seems to be fine. The previous prerooted ROM was not affected.

I don't seem to have this problem, running the latest ROM from OP.

Installed and all working perfectly. When I saw your screenshot showing the updated kernel I knew I had to root. I have the Z3 and the same 17th Sept kernel (obviously not the 'same' but I guess it's the date Sony gave there devs)

Thing is here in Ireland things worked backwards; With my Z3 6603 I received the first update a few weeks ago with the new kernel, then I got the stagefright fix. With the Z2 tab it's different; got an update few weeks ago (2-3) with no stagefright fix or 'recent' kernel. Then stagefright is released in past few days ( 2-3) but also included is new kernel. Maybe I am over thinking.

Bottom line is the Sept Kernel is way better... Perform and batt life.

But cant figure out Sony... I think if you don't have their latest flagship then they will provide you with software but just out of necessity ( granted improvements). They just have too many products ( low, ultra low, Mid, regular, premium..) Why can't they just produce one/two good phones and maybe a tab or pro tab every and focus on that
