I checked it before I uploaded. Its working fine. Make sure you are using CWM Touch by squadzone to flash the zip file.
Is cwm touch a requirement for this to work? I am using an older cwm (4.0.0.5) prior to the touch version and I am having problems trying to get this to work.

I am using chocobread 3.2 RC1 rom and it installs an older version of the market which works fine. Once I flash the zip for the new play store from this thread my google account is gone and there is not an option to add it back; there is a "play store" icon in applications but when I click it it says it is not installed on my phone. If I try to clear data for play store that works but then the play store icon is gone. I can then go to the extracted zip file and install vending.apk which brings play store back but it will then tell me I need to add an account...which I cannot do since the selection is missing.

UPDATE: Figured it out. I updated to cwm touch recovery, wiped everything then reinstalled my rom followed by the gapps package and it is working now.

These Gapps compatible with any device with GB running ? i9000 with CM7.2 ?
Thanks.
and btw, I think u should include the framework com.google.android.maps.jar in your Gapps, right? and its permission com.google.android.maps.xml.
and I don't know if u also should inlcude the lib for the voice search.

Ya, it is compatible with any Rom of gingerbread. I havent included Gmail (LQ app from google because it cannot download zip attachments, many other bugs and the stock Email application of CM7 works so much better), Maps, Voice search(runs in background and results in battery drain esp. for galaxy mini) and other bloat. However, you can install them from play store if you want. Those framework and permission files are not necessary since it is not included in the gapps. Maps doesnt require the framework files from gapps to work. Have tested it already. I use Maps.apk once in a while when I require it. Rest of the time,it is frozen in titanium backup . This gapps is like a bareboned version of official gapps with updated play store and no bullshit. It contains Google Sync files like contacts, calendar syn etc., Gtalk(fixed screen layout for galaxy mini - the Talk.apk from official gapps had screen layout problem. So I have included the stock Talk.apk from official firmware of Galaxy mini) ,latest play store and youtube.

Try it on i9000 if you want. There is no harm but keep a backup just in case anything happens :)
