Yeah but problem are Archi's optimizations (or one of them).
I put much belief in this commit - https://github.com/SlimSaber/kernel...322#diff-b67911656ef5d18c4ae36cb6741b7965R368
but no success. I think that if I tried build with newer GCC (currently on 4.8.1), it wouldn't boot anyway, problem is in GCC source, not in Linaro.

I've already thought about it, but Archi's opts are meant to be used with 4.8 toolchain. So I would rather use GCC 4.8 than Linaro 4.7.

you didn't understand me. I know that using 4.8 will give us more performance. Just check may be this error comes from compilator? If kernel compiles with linaro 4.7 it means that problem in linaro 4.8. Did you try to use Sabermod?

Archi's optimizations are for GCC in general not specifically for 4.8.x ...you can use it on 4.7.x or 4.9.x ...They will behave in similar fashion..

I know, but as he said "using 4.8 will give notable perfomance boost", I believe it.

Screenshots !!!

ROM is too good and smooth. Installed 3 days back ago, still i didn't find any laggy running very smooth.
Only concern why screencast is not working ?? even i earlier tried in PAC ROM it doesn't supported.

Battery little bit drains quickly. but its definitely worth to try cause it has more RAM free space then any others ROM.

No need of screenshots, it is just CM, tweaks aren't visible on display :laugh:
About battery drain, most likely because of wakelocks.

Next update of kernel will be mostly affecting battery. I've included many patches from K^Kernel, too many to remember. :good:

That's strange
Really it doesn't happen on LX builds? It can be bug of OptKernel, just asking.

Yes it is kernel issue. I will look at it, but I don't know what it causes.

Rom is really working flawlessly. Over 50apps installed using it for almost 3 days still no lags what so ever. Just the battery is an issue. It drains quite fast ever without overclock(i.e 1024mhz setting). The performance in general for apps and stuff is wonderful yet in case of games the performance does not improve much when compared to the base cm11 even with 1.6ghz overclock instead of 1.4ghz overclock.
The camera is a major issue for me as i use it alot. The flash lags behind the shutter and it keeps glowing even after the shot is captured. The shots without flash work without any issue.
Overall a nice rom will stay on this one for a while.
Look forward to future updates and specially the camera fix.

The rom really is great, thanks again.
I don't notice a problem with LED flash when taking pictures - it lights them up properly.

build the kernel with mikes latest sources..making it base..there seems to be a fix to camera issues on coming build..i just checked his release changelog..may be it will solve your kernel problems too!!:silly:
