What proves this? Black screen while led?
No, just the two whites dots turning around the red one. I let my phone on all day an it hasn't changed, still turning.
What I did is flash the TWRP twrp-3.2.3-0-20180822-codeworkx-cheeseburger.img using the command on my computer and then managed to go into recovery. There I tried to flash Magisk 20 that I had previously downloaded via the Magisk App.

I can still access recovery when holding my volume button down, and if I go to "install" everything is still available on the phone (Including Magisk-v20.0(20000).zip)

I just can't boot to the phone anymore

Please use the unbrick tool. In 5 minutes you'll have a working OxygenOS 9.0.8

Found this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/how-to/op5-collection-unbrick-tools-t3898870 would that work ?
Would my data be erased ? If yes, is there any other solution ? Ty
Data will be erased. I think this is the best solution for you because this tool erases ALL the phone. Once done, you wil have a new phone with locked bootloader and OxygenOS 9.0.8

Thanks for your answer but if I can avoid erasing everything i'd love it ! If not i'll go for the unbrick too.
I'll wait for strongst opinion on this and follow your advice then :)

Hello again,

So is your storage still encrypted when you boot to twrp(you need to enter pin)?
Yes? Then please follow this within twrp to delete the lockscreen securit:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...k-bootloader-flash-twrp-t3624877/post72748930

Check if you can boot now.

You are on 9.0.8 now or still 5.1.4(sorry, can't find the right post)?

You did not bricked your phone. It's an issue with encryption or twrp/magisk

Thank you very much for your answer. I thought that if you asked the question for proof, maybe it wasn't bricked afterall, which is why I was waiting for your reply before using the tool :)

My storage isn't encrypted. I took the security off before flashing TWRP just in case.
I am on 9.0.8 now

I recommend to boot to twrp, mount storage and transfer your files off the phone(USB to PC) at first

I am not sure what you mean by that : when I go to "TWRP" > "Mount" > I can't select "Storage"
However my phone does appear on my computer when plugged so I copy/pasted everything from the phone to a folder on my PC

I managed to get it working without losing any data. Here's what I did if that can help anyone :
- Boot on TWRP
- Flashed Magisk Uninstaller found here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/ap...systemless-t3473445/post68966662#post68966662
- Reflashed the last TWRP recovery
- Cleaned Dalvik & Cache
- Flashed last Magisk version
- Cleaned Dalvik & Cache
- Reboot

Everything seems to be working now. Huge thanks to strongst for his help
