Just noticed that my watch was updating. Showing Android wear 1.5xxxx and Android 6.01. Anybody else got the update? (watch was on the charger).

My watch is being update in this moment, it was android wear 1.4xxx and 6.0.1
Just got update message also but I have unlocked bootloader and custom kernel so can't update OTA.
Exact version now:

Mine failed to update and now says its up to date if I try to check...
If you look carefully, then you can see that Restart button has been added back.

I don't want to break your mood, but... there won't be any 2.0 for G Watch and OG 360. Some guys here at XDA are trying to port the emulator image, but the result is uncertain.
I'm not positive about it, but for now "G Watch R" hasn't been mentioned anywhere only "Moto 360" and "G Watch" the square one.

After the update my g watch r keeps repeatedly shutting down. It won't even go through the normal shutdown animation, the screen just goes black and the only way to turn it back on is to turn it on as I would normally. That being said my watch hasn't synched with my phone since installing the update (the time isn't even correct). Could it be the update causing this error or not having resynched to my phone?
Might be, I had problems reconnecting mine to my OnePlus 2. The only thing that helped was reinstalling the wear app and following the steps to reconnect and make sure it's running in the background of the phone or I had often disconnections.
YOur case is worse, try factory reset.
Factory reset fixed mine. It was going crazy rebooting and shutting down after the update.
Ended up creating a thread to post factory images in. Also added a full flashable zip for those who need to upgrade the bootloader (e.g. when upgrading from 5.x). Hope it helps.
